Chapter 89 - Pervert Uncle, Im Still A Baby (1/2)

”I asked myself: why should I give up this life when so many people were trying to protect it?”

She looked at her Mother with exhausted eyes: ”I want to live, Mom... but I want to go away from here... Far, far away from here.”

With tears trickling down her face, She begged her father: ”Please, Dad? I don't want to dwell on that nightmare for the rest of my life by staying here. Please!”

Her parents gazed at each other, it wouldn't be easy to pick up and leave, but for her, they would do it.

Xiao Ran walked towards Student Jiao's bed and patted her on the head. ”I will make some preparations for you to study at another branch of WAX.”

She ȧssured her student: ”And you don't have to be afraid of anything anymore, I promise you that you will not see that monster ever again, not even in your dreams. So, sleep now in peace. We will be leaving shortly.”

Student Jiao cried tears of joy and with a smile on her face, similar to a prisoner that finally got their freedom.

”Thank you.”

She said with as much joy as she could muster. She breathed again. ”Thank you.”

Then she looked at Yue Wan and asked: ”Can you stay with me, Miss Yue? I need to talk to you if at all possible.”

There was pleading in her eyes, and her voice shook with nervousness.

Nodding, to Student Jiao, everyone else left the room in order to leave those two alone to talk.

---Outside the room----

Miss Jiao's parents panicked at the idea of having to start all over again in a new location. They turned to Chairman Xiao to ask a few questions, but Advisor Yu interjected before they could.

”You don't need to worry about the tuition fees or anything along those lines. Your daughter's education will be carried out by WAX hereafter. You have nothing to worry about; we will take care of everything so you can concentrate on your family.”

At first, they were reluctant to accept all that help, but hearing their daughter's words, they felt that they too had a part in this situation. If only they didn't pressure their daughter, so much when it came to school rankings, this wouldn't have happened.

With a guilty heart, they accepted the offer. From here on in, they should live for themselves rather than worry about what everyone else thinks.

After some time, Yue Wan came out with an unfocused gaze. Since the others were busy talking with Student Jiao's parents, they never noticed her leaving.

As for Tai Sun, his driver picked him up as soon as he took a step out of the infirmary.

----Back to Yue Villa----

Yue Wan didn't have the slightest memory of how she came arrived back home.

The second she walked into her own room, exhaustion hit her like a ton of bricks. Her soft, comfy bed was calling her name. Her energy was drained both physically and mentally at this moment.

Little Bao meowed with muffled sound as he squandered near Yue Wan's bed.
