Chapter 78 - Need Yue Wan More Than Wei Wan (2/2)

Li Rong did not lose control of himself during the entire time the Wei Wan was panicking. Once the car had stopped in the middle of the road, he slapped the steering wheel in annoyance: ”Uhh.....Uh.”

”Ron.....g ba...by Wha..” Wei Wan stuttered as her head spun. She couldn't concentrate on what was going on.

Li Rong unbuckled his seat belt, ran out of the car, and rushed to Wei Wan's door. Using all of his strength, he grabbed Wei Wan and pulled her from the car. Flinging her to the ground, he started to scream and yell.

”Shut up, you Bi**h. I have lost 15 million dollars because of you, and now I have had sh** poured all over me.”

Forcefully gripping her chin, he brought her eyes up to his level. ”That old woman is the wife of the Deputy Chief of Police, Mr. Shen. Do you have any idea what you have done?”

Leaving her lying on the road, Li Rong returned to his car and sped away, abandoning Wei Wan without a second thought.

Terror struck Wei Wan as she stared at the car getting smaller, and smaller. She flinched, horrified at his cruelty. How could he leave her like this? What was she to do now?

After a few moments, Wei Wan heard a car approaching. Looking up, she saw Li Rong returning to her, and yet Wei Wan didn't move.

It's true that Li Rong loved Wei Wan, but it is also true that he loved himself more. After what happened today, his true nature was revealed as he lost his cool for the first time.

At the same time, Wei Wan also learned an important lesson from this. She finally understood that she was nothing more than a pawn, one that could be abandoned at any given moment if she was no longer useful.

That was the start of the first conflict between these two.

A man in his 20's stood before the door to the hospital room. He ground his teeth and clenched his hands as he gazed into the room and saw the insane woman's rampage. He had similar hair and eye color as the crazy woman, who was finally restrained by nurses and doctors with the help of the security staff.

”Doctor, can she give her statement in the trial tomorrow?” The man asked with tense facial muscles.

The doctor looked at him and shook his head. ”I'm sorry, Mr. Tian, your sister is not in any position to leave the hospital. Her mind is not steady, and it would be detrimental to both her physical and mental health to be released from the hospital.”

Tian Mein was the only son of the Mayor and the brother of Tain Li (the person who ȧssaulted Yue Wan). He was the mastermind behind the attack, and yet he did not take things into careful consideration, resulting in his only sister being injured. He pounded on a nearby wall with his fist in sheer agony as he berated, ”That useless sister of mine. Why can't she quiet down for a day?! I need to find a way to create enough of a disturbance at WAX in my sister's name to obstruct that Wh**e's exam. A trial would have been perfect, except that Sister isn't smart enough to know when to calm down.”
