Chapter 76 - Who Is Her!... Who Is Her! Tell Me (1/2)
Yue Wan looked at Uncle Wang and shook her head in disgust. ”Knowing how cowardly Li Rong is, he must have waited behind the Yue mansion until he saw my father and brother leave. That is the only way he would approach me at home.”
She knew that Li Rong didn't have the guts to go near Yue When her overprotective father and brother were around. Since he was such a chicken in-front of her brother, he could only slink around in the shadows, like a worm. As she slipped on the orange juice that Shen Rui gave her, she suddenly had a thought. Turning back to Uncle Wang, she asked: ”Is she with him?”
Uncle Wan understood that the 'She' Yue Wan was referring to was none other than Wei Wan. Nodding his head, he sighed in vexation as he replied: ”Yes, Young Miss, Miss Wan is with him.”
-------
Mrs. Shen slammed the fork down on the table with a bang. ”Was he not banned from the Yue mansion? Why would he dare step foot on these premises?”
”Young Master did warn him, but he came with the Elder's grace,” replied Uncle Wang as he turned to Mrs. Shen.
Yue Wan's eyebrows creased in anger. Clearly, she had to do something about those Elders. She clenched her fists under the table, her face turned from white to red, as her temper soared. Shen Rui, who was looking at Yue Wan, cried out in fear when he saw her face turn red. ”Sister-Wan!”
Forgetting about the burn on her hand, Yue Wan hissed in pain and blew air over the wound as she agonized over her unthoughtful ness. ”Sorry, apparently I was quite careless.”
Shen Ming and Rui looked at their mother and silently gestured to her. 'You deal with the unwelcomed visitors. Our wife needs rest and should not be bothered by trash.'
Mrs. Shen couldn't believe her sons' actions. She wished that they showed this type of consideration for their parents as well. With her sons' encouragement, Mrs. Shen was ready and willing to kick some Green Tea Bi**hs and send them on home with a lesson they wouldn't soon forget.
”Little Wan, you are still recovering. Why don't you return to your room with the Twins, and I will deal with the unwanted visitors.”
When they heard this, the Twins helped Yue Wan stand up and escorted her to the stairs while giving their mother the thumbs-up behind their backs. 'Show them who they are messing with, mom,' they smiled.
Uncle Wang escorted Mrs.Shen outside to greet the guests while the twins happily stepped into Yue Wan's room.
---Yue Xiang----
Away from civilization, in a dark forest, there was a dilapidated building that was known to very few people. If you listened carefully, you could hear a women's muffled groans and the whispers of her breath. Inside the building, there was an enormous room with a lone chair and a woman, her arms and legs tied, blood slowly dripping down her fingers. Her appearance no longer seemed human, but rather something ugly, almost disfigured with bruises all over her body and open cuts, bleeding into the ground. For a second, everything was quiet.
Lu Jia painfully lifted up her head, her eye blurring as she tried to see what was in front of her. The last thing she remembered was drinking water, and then, its nothing. When the darkness lifted, she found herself in the middle of no-where, bound to a chair. As her conscious returned, she was able to look around, then she realized that someone had kidnaped her from jail, but who could it have been?
Without saying a word, her kidnappers started to beat her meticulously. They, repeatability kicking, punching, and slapping her like a punching bag until she didn't think that she could have taken it anymore. Her body no longer felt like hers, as the pain radiating from all over. She had never felt pain like this, and yet, she couldn't voice it out.
