Chapter 19 - Li Rongs threat (1/2)

Yue Yeager scorned in the corner like a detested puppy, 'Little Wan didn't ask for daddy.' Seeing her father sulking in the corner Yue Wan sweatdropped, so to brighten him up she said ”Daddy, how come Big Brother didn't check Li Rong, he isn't as smart as you.” Yue Yeager's face bulbed into million waltzes powerful smile, ”Little Wan, that stinky brat needs 1000 yr to reach my level. He can't even guess this smallest thing.” Yue Yeager with a proud voice made more remarks, ”Your Grandpa once revealed to me that, when Xiang was a child, he always broad the wrong class.” Yue Yeager came close to Yue Wan and with a ridiculing tone, ”he had a very poor sense of direction as a Kid.”

Yue Wan chuckled alongside her dad while imagining Yue Xiang as a small boy with a frustration look during his school days.

”ahem ahem.” They both halted their actions and looked back, only to be caught by Yue Xiang with his lip curled up and a devil aura around him.

They both gulped the spit with thought, 'terrible timing.' Yue Wan knew that daddy was done for sure, with condolence voice in her mind, 'RIP Daddy.'

And for Yue Yeager, he smiled innocently at Yue Xiang and tug his hand, ”Xiang you are still here, ah !! you came to remind me about the meeting, how mindful you are! Just like me in my teenage.”

Yue Xiang didn't amend by seeing his shameful act however to please the big devil, Yue Yeager with a guilty expression, ”I am getting aged these days that's why I forget my schedules a lot.” well what he means was, 'I'm old so don't take my talk too seriously and you shouldn't hold resentment.'

Yue Wan felt embarrassed by her dad's shamelessness,'If his investors saw this, they will puke blood.'

Yue Xiang was used to it, so with a bitter tone, ”We should go.” Yue Yeager like a good kid tailed him with no fit, 'Little Wan, appeal to God for daddy's long life.'

Before they can leave the room Yue Wan remembered her needs, ”I need software to copy a phone's data record.” Yue Xiang took a Pendrive from his pocket and tossed it toward her, ”connect it to the phone directly.”

Yue Wan send them to the office and returned to the room.

Yue Wan dressed herself up pretty with a full hand white shirt and a pair of brown trousers with an extra piece of cloth that covers the ċhėst and held in place by a strap over each shoulder. She braided her wavery hair in a ponytail. After she groomed up, she took her phone and send the message.

To LiRong: XGP(Xiao Grand Plaza) in 30 min.

Yue Wan went down, ”Uncle Wang I am going to XGP, If i am late, you should inform Big brother.”

Uncle Wang gave her a key and said, ”Yes Young Miss and Your father ordered a new car which was delivered today.” Yue Wan took the key and asked, ”anything else?”

”Young Master prepared one too.” Uncle Wang opened the car back door and a dark little creature jumped into her embrace, Yue Wan caught it like an instinct and rubbed its fur lovingly, ”A cat?”

Uncle Wang corrected her by saying, ”Its an Aisaian black leopard, Young Master got it from a voyager monk.”

Yue Wan felt a sudden pain in the heart like it was telling her to remember something, 'what was that?' Uncle Wang saw the same guise in her eye when she asked about Xiao Family, ”Young Miss?”

Yue Wan dispersed her thought and looked at the little fellow, he had a round golden eye with a pure black fur that was so soft to touch, ”I'll take him with me, bye Uncle Wang” then she left the perimeter by car.
