Elijah talked a bit more with Sage before sending her to meet his mother.

Eve appeared next to him and informed:” The guardians of the galaxy are being pursued by the sovereign fleet after they stole some Annulax Batteries.”

Eve showed him the ongoing chase while Elijah had a small on his face as he is not really a big fan of the sovereign due to their belief of supremacy. The only noticeable member was their high priestess Ayesha who has a similar ability to Sage and had high intelligence. A race that claims to be superior can't handle an Abilisk alone , that's a shame.

Annulax batteries were expensive of course, Elijah had hired Broker years ago to acquire some for him. Elijah studied them and recreated them and used them to power several of his created items.

Elijah watched the pursuit and paid special attention to the ship , The Milano since he and Banner made some adjustments to it after it was almost destroyed the day of the battle of Xandar. With Rocket piloting the ship and discovering its real performance, the remotely piloted Omnicraft couldn't put a dent on The Milano. The Guardians escaped through a quantum asteroid field leaving the sovereign fleet behind.

Elijah satisfied with the performance closed the view screen. He left Star-Lord to deal with his father Ego.

Elijah has already destroyed the seed planted by Ego on earth and on Xandar. It was safer that way.

The next day, Elijah and Banner arrived at Haven industries. It was product launch day.

Every time Haven industries launched a product, there will be many peoples who come to attend ranging from reporters, businessmen and more.

Today it was a special product. Elijah is launching Virtual reality helmet.

It was a project that Elijah finished years ago. He didn't launch it at that time as the atmosphere was not suitable so he kept it for now. The helmet was similar to the one in Sword Art Online. With the helmet also came a virtual ecosystem where one could play VRMMORPG, online shopping, communication with others, learning.

Elijah and Banner entered the CEO office.

Elijah saw his mother instructing Sage on some managerial matters and said:” Mother, be sure not to overwhelm her.”

Linda:” Oh dear, she's a diamond. Now she's my daughter. She should be perfect.”

Elijah:” Who will be doing the project launch?”

Linda:” I don't know. It's usually either me or Jean.”

Elijah thought for a while before he said:” Bruce how about you do it?”

Bruce confused :” Are you sure ? Won't me being in the public creates a storm? I disappeared for 2 years since the Battle of New york and it's good.”

Linda :” Dear Bruce, you can't live all your life in hiding.”

Elijah:” It is a good idea for you to present it.”

Bruce shrugged :” Ok why not.”

Elijah turned to look at Sage then his mother and asked:” How was her first day?”
