Chapter 51 - Meeting and Sage (1/2)

Inside a conference room in the base of Inselheim, Elijah could be seen sitting accompanied by Natasha , Eliana , Jean and Banner.

They were having a meeting to discuss various topics.

Elijah:” Let the meeting begin. Jean, please you can start.”

Jean :” The Hospital is doing fine, everything is going well. After the battle of New York and the relief work we offered has created a strong reputation to our services. We are still the leading hospital in curing several diseases as well as limb regeneration and plastic surgery.

But as your father will retire, i will have more workload as director of the hospital.”

Elijah nodded and said :” Good, Choose someone you can trust and nurture him to reduce your work load. Eliana please your turn.”

Eliana, the head of security in the Müller family as well as the one who is mostly responsible for executing Elijah's wishes and Natasha's right hand.

She said:” Sir, after the clean up we did to the company, no one dared to send spy in our midst. From time to time, there are those who try to poach our scientist or those who try to harm your parents but they are dealt with by the girls.

Remnants of HYDRA were also dealt with except to one you asked us to leave alive but they are monitored.

On the inhuman side, Jiaying has become a bit more aggressive, It is said that she wants to hunt S.H.I.E.L.D. agents as a revenger for taking her daughter.”

Elijah :” Hmm alright, I think it's about time we turned Ms Johnson into an inhuman.”

Both Natasha and Eliana nodded. They were aware of Elijah's plan to turn Skye into an inhuman and let her tale over the inhuman community in the afterlife.

Elijah :” Natasha your turn.”

Natasha:” Nothing really new. S.H.I.E.L.D is turning very well. With new training and directives, they became more efficient. They indexed all the aliens living on earth. Another department was responsible for the mutants. Although there is a bit of friction between the government and the Mutant community but for now we can avoid any human-mutant war. Magneto is still ruling Genosha that is populated by mutants , you did well in taking the boost that Apocalypse gave him otherwise he would be really able to destroy earth specially with his terroristic tendencies .Other people with power of differ sources were also investigated. From those we recruited some who i thought could help the agency.

As for Coulson's team, after debriefing them about the mission in Xandar, i commended them for their work and send them back to duty. Nova Prime has called me in an official capacity to form an alliance, we're still discussing the details.”

Elijah:” Good, this is the first and crucial step for S.H.I.E.L.D . We will be sending more teams to space to explore and learn.

Eliana, are you still in contact with Charles Xavier?”

Eliana:” Yes sir, after he has accepted our cooperation, several mutants work for Haven industries. Some of them are really grateful as they have trouble finding a job if they are identified as a mutant.”

Elijah:” Good , Natasha and Eliana , i need you to try and recruit some mutants to S.H.I.E.L.D but only the one with adequate powers .” After getting a nod in response, Elijah continued :” As you are all aware, my mother wants to retire and i need to find a new CEO , any suggestions?”

Eliana stood up and presented several names as suggestions and a discussion began on who could be the next CEO.

Natasha:” Murdock could be good as his scholarship came from us. But he's a bit like Steve Rogers, it could be detrimental in making difficult decisions nonetheless he's an intelligent lawyer. His nightly activities however are a bit disturbing.”
