It has been nearly a month since Dave has started learning from Balthazar while Balthazar helped Thomas learn how to manipulate magic and use it without speaking or uttering the words.

Thanks to that, now he can use all magic except for summoning and large scale elemental magic without using incantations. Their strength gets reduced by about 20 percent but it's all well and good.

Although Thomas learned a lot from the experienced sorcerer, Balthazar tricked Thomas. He only guided him for there days after which he put his entire focus on Dave and make sure he becomes a powerful sorcerer.

In these times, Dave has gone on some date with his childhood crush Becky much to Balthazar's disdain for this relationship.

In the time when Dave is learning the basics of magic, Thomas went on to his normal life going to school, flirting with girls( since he isn't in any form of relationship with anyone yet ) and going to the club.

Thomas knows Dave needs to be away from distractions at this stage so he distanced himself from his friends much to Dave's dissatisfaction and Bathazar's approval.

At this time, Horvath tried to attack Dave's lab and steal the Grim Lock but they were able to prevent the robbery.

Thomas felt jealous that he was not able to take part in the epic chase which let Dave experience the mirror world.

Thomas wished to learn Mirror Workd magic, but without a skilled teacher or enough foundation for it, Thomas cannot dabble into it until he is an archmage.

Thomas hasn't slacked in his studies of Magic art and even dabbled into the field of souls and Necromancy after gearing about 'The Rising' which Morgana Le Fey intends to cast.

Thomas doesn't remember the entire plot except for the main one in which there will be an epic battle soon.

If he passes, he can have a chance to use them later but if not he will miss the opportunity altogether.

As for why Thomas isn't focusing on them completely, it is simple. It is a completely new topic for him. If the basics aren't strong enough, there is a high chance Thomas may be seduced by this division of magic and had may transform himself into a lich.

So, there is a balance between fun and work.

In this time, Thomas met a friend of his former one-night-stand girl, Lucy. This friend of her is a blonde hair, unlike her silky black hair.

She is a Dutch model Laren Mulder. The black shoulder strap gala gown she wore was very alluring. She attracted the eyes of many admireres whether they be men or women. Her wavy hair curled at ends and hung by her shoulders.

As for his dear friend and close acquaintance Lucy she can be considered a bombshell at that night.

She was as much a head turner as friend.
