Chapter 28 - 5 Arriving at Gotham (1/2)

Gotham is only a few kilometres away from New York City. It is only a couple of hours drive distance from the Allens Mansion.

After leaving his house with a convoy of three cars whoch has people responsible for setting things up and five vans whoch possessed his guards for this trip, they arrived at Gotham City in a very high profiled way.

If it is the time of ”Roman” Falcone, there might be some chances of recoil or partnership with the forces of Gotham. But with his fall, a new round of aggression has started for the empty seat.

The seat of power, the Godfather of Gotham.

So, the arrival of Thomas at this time has become the arrival of an outsider who has entered Gotham in order to seize this power.

He is here to make his forces and fill the void generated because of the fall of The Roman.

Although Thomas has no hopes to enter the chaotic city of Gotham, he will have to do it.

That object can help him greatly in the future and if he doesn't seize it early on then it will be much difficult for him in the future.

It is the hat of the Mad Hatter, which has mind control and hypnotic powers.

With that device, his mage training can take a giant leap forward. With that in mind, he can even create a virtual reality simulator for his training.

After all, no matter how strong he gets, as long as he cannot learn to use it properly it is of no use.

Even if it meant he has to face the entire Gotham City alone, he is willing to do so. A training simulation is something which is something he is willing to go to war.

With that as a goal, he had arrived at Hotel Zeus of the Gotham City. It is the most luxurious hotel of the Gotham City which was created by a rich businessman whose ancestors were glorious fighters of Rome.

When Thomas comes out of the car, he is greeted by the current mayor of Gotham City, Quincy Sharp and by his side is Dr. Hugo Strange. They are the main people along with others in the crowd.

Quincy Sharp was the warden of Arkham Asylum before he was elected as the Mayor of Gotham City. Sharp dedicated his life to ”curing” Gotham, and was rather dismissive of Batman and the criminal underworld. However, he was also corrupt, as Sharp was cursed with a split personality that divided his mind between himself and a killer.

And the one who has helped him as an advisor to reach this position is Professor Hugo Strange.

He is a psychiatrist and the only person to deduce the real identity of Batman through observation and analysis. He managed to find that behind the mask of Batman, is Bruce Wayne.

He has made dubious plans in the future to deal with the parasites of the Gotham City and the Arkham city is one of those projects.

He also has close connections with the League of Shadows, as for how deep this connection is, Thomas has no idea but it must be something.

This man is very dangerous and one must be especially cautious around him for any action can be used against you if you are in front of someone like him.

He greeted the two happily with a smile on his face.
