Wang Lei smiled and stood from his place, getting everyone's attention diverted towards him. He opened his arms and caught the golden blur which was the girl that came with the Three Sect Masters.

”Caiyi missed you, big brother!” The little empress said with excitement laced in her voice. She rubbed her face with Wang Lei's stomach as she took his familiar smell and presence.

”I missed you too, Caiyi. You seem to have become stronger. Big Brother is proud of you.” Wang Lei said gently while rubbing her head tenderly.

Everyone seemed to be surprised by this development. What just happened? Was the question in everyone's mind.

But the most affected one was the youth, who was following the Golden Crow Sect Master - Huo Rulie.

He looked at Caiyi and Wang Lei with wide-eye and utter bafflement. He could not understand what was going on. Or he could, but he was denying the possibility that was coming to his mind. Either way, he did not believe what he was seeing.

The girl that never smiled on her stay at Flame God Realm, never showed any fluctuations in her emotions, never let anyone get too close to her, was now hugging a man with a big smile on her face? This whole scenario threw him in a torrent of emotions.

Xuanyin looked towards Caiyi jealously, but it did not show on her face. Only Bingyun could see it in her elder sister's eyes. She sighed seeing it. She already was well aware of the fact that her sister holds feelings for the young dragon, but her sister was a noob in this department.

Bingyun was sure that even if the world came to end, her sister will never convey her feelings. Since that was not her forte at all. She suċkėd at social interaction.

The Three Sect Master were also astonished by the current development. They also did not understand what just transpired.

The surrounding temperature increased to even more levels. The disciples closer to him felt their skins scorching. They hurriedly distance themselves from him.

He looked towards Caiyi with anger, but his pressure was useless as it was off-set by Wang Lei.

Wang Lei looked down at them, ”Who gave you permission to speak in front of this King? Next time you use your pressure against her, I would not mind making sushi out of you, old man!” He was already in a really bad mood. And now with Huo Rulie trying to pressure Caiyi with his pressure, ruined it further.

If not that his mood has risen considerably with the sweet and soft boy of Caiyi, he would have killed this old man.

Everyone's eyes stretched to extreme seeing Wang Lei disrespecting Huo Rulie. He was one of the Great Sect Master, you know!

Huo Rulie energy started to rise as he heard Wang Lei's threat of making sushi out of him. He was already a short-tempered person. Ignoring everyone, he was about to attack him when was stopped by the Sect Master of Vermilion Bird.

”Stop it, Brother Huo Rulie! We are here to ask for her help. If you attack him, you might worsen the situation!” He whispered to him.

”So are you saying we should let that junior disrespect us, Yan! We are Great Sect Master of Flame God Realm! Are you going to let our dignity be stepped on by a junior?!” Huo Rulie did not care and shouted at Yan.

Though Yan understood what he meant since he was also quite angry at Wang Lei for disrespecting him, he had to act calm.

”Why don't you take a deep breath, Brother Rulie, and think this straight? If you killed him for a slight 'slip of the tongue', we will lose our chance to kill Horned Dragon.” Yan still tried to persuade him to calm down.

Though he was extremely mad, he tried his best to calm down since he knew Xuanyin was the only hope for them.

Seeing that he was not going to attack anymore, Yan went forward and started to laugh as if nothing has happened, ”It is great to see that majestic Realm King of Snow Song Realm is doing well! This Yan is greatly honored to see the Realm King again!”

Xuanyin coldly looked at him, ”What is sect master of Vermilion Bird is doing here? If you want this King's help to slay Horned Dragon then forget about it.”

Yan coughed and said, ”This Yan understand that Realm King is still angry with what happened thousand years ago, but Realm King should remember that you have killed many star realms under us; it should be enough to clear the feud between us. Why don't we all take a step back to see the immensity of heaven?”

Xuanyin snickered hearing him, ”Do you think that a puny star realm is comparable to the life of this King's sister? Even your whole realm is not comparable to this King's sister!”
