She silently cleaned the yard as to not disturbed the old man sleeping.

With her cleaning the yard – the picture that was being portrayed with her and nature was beyond breathtaking.

As she was cleaning the garden, her eyes hollowed out. To an outsider, it would feel like that she was spacing out, but only she knew that she was not.

The girl found herself standing in a void. There was nothing here. No time, No space; No life, No energy. The only thing present was 'nothingness'.

Seeing this 'nothingness' again, for who knows how many times, the girl said, ”I am back, again.” She mumbled to herself.

She has been spacing out, from time to time, since the time Darkness attacked this continent.

At first, she was scared and terrified. At one moment she was near her father – the old man – and the other moment, she was in this 'nothingness'.

Today too, she thought that it would be the same. Until she saw a white light shone in front of her.

She was surprised. In this 'nothingness', where nothing existed, a white light shone.

She focused on the light, thinking it might be the answer to this lose chase mystery.

Soon, the light shone brighter as it took the shape of a small girl.

She looked to be in her 15s. Straight white hair, grey eyes, beautiful silky smooth skin.

She wore white robes that covered her petite body.

”We finally met Lingxi.” She said.

Confusion showed on Xiao Lingxi's face. She has never seen this girl before, but she felt that she was the closest to her.

Like a lost child meeting their mother – that what Lingxi felt.

”Who are you?” Lingxi asked. Her voice was smooth and clear, making one feel relax.

The girl looked at Lingxi and said, ”I am you, and you are me.”

Lingxi becomes puzzled. She felt that she knew what the girl meant; at the same time, she did not.

”What do you mean?” she asked, trying to clarify her doubts.

The girl looked at the confused Lingxi and shook her head, ”You still have not gained your memory; you are too weak.”

Lingxi becomes more confused but still listened to the girl.

”All I can do is give you some help. Once you are strong enough, you have to meet him. We have to complete the promise that we did to him, to our husband.” The girl said. Her voice was filled with melancholy, so much that one would feel overwhelmed.

There was so much pain in her voice – unconscious to Lingxi, tears started to fall from her eyes.

She did not know who she was talking about. But she knew in her heart, she wanted to meet this person. Her whole being screamed to her to meet him.

Lingxi never felt this way for anyone. Neither for Yun Che, her 'cousin', or Xiao Li, her father.

She felt a hollow inside her heart, and only he could fill it.

She said unconsciously, ”I will.”

The girl hearing her smiled as she started to fade, but her voice remains for some time, ”I will wait then, for the moment I – we met our husband, Wang Lei again.” With the end of her sentence, Lingxi found herself back in the yard.

But something was different. It was Lingxi's eyes that were filled with conviction. ”I have to meet him,” she said as she went towards the pavilion and started to cultivate the profound technique left behind by the little girl.
