Chapter 68 - Blurry Silhouette. (2/2)
”Ancient Fortress, at least that what it was called on the wiki,” Wang Lei said as he looked at the door.
”Ancient Fortress? Wiki?” Feng Xue'er was confused as she has never heard those words, well, more for the latter.
Wang Lei shook his head and started to walk towards the door.
As they closed the door, it opened on its own. Feng Xue'er again took over by surprise but seeing Wang Lei impassive, keep walking; she also got over her surprise and followed after him.
A blinding white light took their sights as they entered. Recovering their sights, both saw huge grey structures everywhere – an ancient city.
There was nothing but grey, making it quite dull and cold. It was complete silence.
Feng Xue'er got creepy feelings; she got close to him and grips his sleeves.
A moment later, both reached in front of a door, but it was locked.
'If I remember correctly, then there must be some buŧŧon to lock the doors.' Wang Lei thought.
But after searching for some time with Xue'er, they found nothing.
”It seems that this door does not have a profound formation to open it, big brother.” Xue'er said.
While they were coming here, they have seen formations at every door that opened and closed them, but not this one.
Wang Lei shrugged his shoulders and waved his hand.
<Starfire>
A blue flame emerged from his hands and covered the whole door.
Feng Xue'er watched with surprise as the blue flame 'ate' the door silently, with no sound produced.
They walked in and saw a coffin lying in the center of the room. Inside the coffin was a beautiful girl, sleeping peacefully.
She was a petite little girl with long red hair, reaching up to her lower back, ruby-like sparkling red instead of fiery red. A perfect face with immaturity that only a child would possess.
She wore a bright red imperial robe, but her clothes seemed to be very thin, bringing out all the contours of her petite body.
'Who is she' she approached her, but just as she was about to touch the coffin, a burst of profound energy came from her behind it, pushing her back, all the way to the door.
She, surprised, look at the back of the coffin; she could see a blurry white silhouette.
She could bȧrėly tell that it was the silhouette of a woman.
”Who are you, people?” A voice of a woman came from the silhouette with pressure enough that even Wang Lei felt it.
Feeling the pressure, Wang Lei's eyes narrowed, ”Even as a lingering part of consciousness, you still have this much power; really surprising.”
The blurry silhouette looked (?) towards Wang Lei and asked again, ”Who are you?”
'Is she on loop or something?'
”Just a passerby.” Wang Lei said.
