Chapter 11 - Steamrolled (1/2)
As Mizuki and Obito went back to their positions and began to relax, they left several members of the class in shock.
Anko approached Mizuki, weaving through the crowd of students to find him chatting with Obito and gave him a slap on the back.
”Good Job Mizuki”
The White Haired boy gave a proud smile back to her before laughing, just bȧrėly getting out a reply ”Thanks Anko” before starting to think about where he could improve for next time.
”When did Obito get that good?” the instructor thought to himself.
Before, he was one of the worst students in the entire year, and yet now he could easily be placed in the top ten, maybe even the top five.
”Just how much more will he grow?”
Regaining his composure after an odd thirty seconds, the instructor realized that all of the students were staring at him now.
Trying to recover, he announced the next match to try to move the spotlight off of himself.
”Next match, Shisui vs Asuma”
All of the students appeared to be confident, shouting out encouragement for their classmate
”GO ASUMA!”
”Teach him how it's done!”
A faint blush could be seen on Kurenai's face as she tried to discreetly get a good view of what is to come.
That is, except for Obito and Mizuki. After spending the last few days being put through a training straight out of hell with him, they both knew exactly how this match would end.
Feeling pity for Asuma, both of the boys started to discreetly pray for their classmate to have a quick recovery after the fight.
Anko noticed something was wrong with Mizuki's reaction and quickly asked him about it.
Mizuki: ”Nope, concerned for your classmate”
At this point, Obito buŧŧed in.
Obito: ”Poor Kid, he had so much to live for too”
Mizuki: ”May he rest in peace”
By the time the three finished their conversation, both Asuma and Shisui had stepped into the drawn ring.
”Hope we will have a good fight” Asuma virtually yelled in an enthusiastic voice.
