”Ouch, my eyes!”
Ling Huang covered his eyes which saw the lovey-dovey atmosphere around those two lovebirds in front of him.
Honestly speaking, Ling Huang felt that Xi Jian didn't really take the three of them seriously. What kind of fighting is it? No one really showed their abilities. Without Ling Feng or Ling Huansheng, facing him was an easy thing, because Ling Huang only knew how to defend and attack at the ground level. Ling Huansheng was probably a few levels better than him whos always honing his martial arts, did not really bring out his abilities too. He was able to throw Xi Jian just pure by coincidence.
Suddenly a lot of voice broken out startled him.
”What happened?”
”Boss!”
”Major!”
There was the rush of steps from all directions towards them. Ling Yue turned her head right and left. Several men in uniform stood not far from Ling Feng. On the other side, Ling Yue saw Xi Jian's subordinates approaching them.
”Boss, are you alright?”
Gan Ji scans his boss from head to toe. Xi Jian's stupid smile was replaced by an expressionless face.
”What's all this about?”
The old voice that Ling Yue recognized could be heard behind Ling Feng. Xi Zihao and Ling Yujin stood side by side with a frown. Ling Yujin glanced at the uniformed troops he recognized and looked at people in plain clothes, confused.
”How did they get in?” Ling Yujin asked no one particular.
”That's ... um ...”
Ling Yue didn't know what to say. Ling Feng snorted. ”Nothing happen, grandfather. They only came to enliven the situation.” Ling Feng waved his hand. ”Back to position.”
Xi Jian turned to his subordinates and said the same thing. ”Wait until the next command.”
Ling Huansheng shuddered silently at the back of Xi Jian's subordinates, who was back away. 'What a scary people! How can they break through the Old Mansion's defenses and just rush in?'
Grandfather Ling had his own security team. Nobody could barge in without getting caught. Ling Feng's troops had to be registered first even though they were guard around the Mansion.
Xi Jian casually put his hand on Ling Yue's waist. ”Sorry, grandfather, they are impatient to meet with Mrs. Xi and barge in.”
The two elders Ling and Xi did not buy Xi Jian's words but they did not ask further.
”The night is getting higher we should go home.” Xi Zihao invited Xi Jian to leave from there. ”Sure. Let's go home, honey.”
”Wait!” Ling Feng grabbed Xi Jian's shoulder. ”You go alone. She's stay”
”She's my wife. How could I leave her?” Xi Jian stiffened. Who knew they would do something to Ling Yue without his knowledge that made Ling Yue stay away from him?
