1 Moments before (1/2)
A small city on the southern coast. It was time to get off work.
A group of off-duty men and women walked out of a small factory.
The woman was wearing an ordinary grey work suit, her back was straight, her eyes were fixed on the sky, and from head to toe, she exuded the aura of a person that won't allow anyone to get too close to her.
Her face was as plain as a normal person's. The only thing that caught people's attention was her red lips. The only bright thing on her body was her fiery red lips. Her entire face was covered with lipstick.
The tinge of red was eye-catching in the gray, as if announcing her difference, marking her chilliness.
The others were all talking and laughing around her. Only she was alone, and no one dared to approach her. However, her expressionless face proclaimed her disdain.
When she reached a corner, she stopped because there was a prim man in front of her, blocking her way. The man held a wild flower tightly in his hands, wanting to hand it over but not daring to, trembling and trembling.
The woman lowered her eyes and did not look at the person in front of her. Her face remained indifferent.
”Chu Wan, I … I've thought it through, and I still want to take care of you. ” The man seemed to muster up the courage to speak nervously. ”You …” Even though you are older than me by six years, I am happy. Everyone says that a female junior is holding onto gold bars, and I am willing … Carry two golden bricks. ”
”Heh.” The woman's red lips parted as she said indifferently: ”I don't want to.” With that, she walked around him, still walking forward.
”I won't give up, I'm going home this weekend. We're having fish festival, I'm going out to sea, don't worry, I'll be back soon.”
The straight back of the woman in front of him suddenly stopped, and the man's eyes widened. After hesitating for a few seconds, he quickly ran over.
”Chu Wan, what's wrong with you? Is there something wrong? ” he asked with concern.
The woman called Chu Wan was looking straight ahead, as though she was thinking about something.
The distant scene flashed past Chu Wan's mind.
”Dad, dad, I still want to eat candied fruits.”
In the bustling market, an eight-year-old girl was riding on the neck of a tall man, smiling happily.
