57 Chapter 57: Unfortunate (1/2)
Weeks ago I thought that I had it all. A gorgeous fiancé, living in a huge mansion, finding my family, and talk of making one of my own. I had been so blind to what was happening right under my nose, but no more. This is my life now, my life as it should be.
”Alright beautiful, let's go.”
I follow after Kai and he leads me into a small cell, one that looks oddly familiar. He unexpectedly shoves me inside and slams the cell door shut.
”Hey what the fuck Kai?!”
”Her rules, not mine.”
He exits and I cling onto the cold iron bars. The clack of high heels against the tile floors echo throughout the empty space. I can feel beads of sweat collect on the back of my neck.
”Well well, if it isn't my dear ole daughter.”
'That voice...could it really be her?'
The woman stands right in front of me and looks me dead in the eyes,
”You're still alive...”
”Hm, that I am.”
”B-but how? He was supposed to make sure that you were dead!”
”Who? Those two little boys you hung around? Oh please, he might've got me but it wasn't that deep.”
”No...NOOO!”
I drop down to my knees and cover my face with my hands in complete horror.
”Oh yes my child. I'm alive and it would seem that you've fallen right back into my hands.”
”No...i'm not your damn pawn anymore. I'll keep fighting you with everything that i've got.”
She reaches through the bars and grabs my shirt, pulling me close to her face,
”Listen here you ignorant child, I own you. I always have! Just because you took off that collar doesn't mean you can prance around like you matter. You don't! You never have and you never will.”
She lets me go and I collapse back onto the floor with a loud thud. Pain shoots up my legs but I don't care.
”You remember what happens to bad girls who don't listen, don't you?”
”...”
”Very well, you'll sit in here until you learn your lesson. I hope you enjoyed your last night in the guest room because this is now your home sweet home.”
”Burn in hell you which!”
”Only if you get there first.”

'I find myself thinking about her ever few seconds. I didn't notice how deeply my love ran for her.'
”Aye boss, one of our guys on the inside have just confirmed that Kaz is alive.”
”Is she hurt?”
”No, just held down in some kinda dungeon.”
'She's strong, I know she'll be fine.'
”Any idea why?”
”She refused to fight in an unground arena and was taken there.”
”But?”
”But, that's it. We don't have anything else on the situation.”
”I want updates every damn day.”
”You got it boss.”
I grab my phone and call Carlos,
”Why are you still in my fucking face? Get the hell out!”
