24 Chapter 24: Let Them Eat Cake (1/2)
”Ustedes dos están conmigo, vamos.”
(You two are with me, come on.)
I walk over to the van and throw in a duffel bag,
”Mira y ve si falta algo.”
(Look and see if something is missing.)
One of my men opens the bag and searches though it.
”Everything seems to be here. But did you mean to pack this?”
He holds up a roll of condoms and I smirk,
”Hehe, yeah man. Now let's go! We gotta get there before anyone shows up!”

”Miguel, Jesús, ustedes dos se dirigen al área de la cocina.”
(Miguel, Jesus, you two go to the kitchen area.)
”Aye.”
They change into their waiter outfits and head inside. I watch them from the tiny screen in the van.
”¿Puedes oírnos jefe?”
(Can you hear us boss?)
”Alto y claro. ¿Tienes tus armas?”
(Loud and clear. Do you have your weapons?)
”Sí señor. Le daremos la bomba a uno de los trabajadores, ¿verdad?”
(Yes sir. We will give the bomb to one of the workers, right?)
”Yeah, now act natural. You got workers on your left.”
I watch as the plan unfolds perfectly. The cake is set and a few guest have started to arrive.
Miguel and Jesus are doing excellent, all that's left now is for them to show up.
A tinted suv pulls up. It's them. I watch as Carlos steps out and walks to the passengers side. He opens the door and Kaz steps out.
She has on a wine colored dress on. It shows off her perfect figure, hugging her body and exposing her leg and back.
”She looks gorgeous.”
I see a smile appear in her face,
”Well thank you Ricky.”
”Oh shit, I forgot you could hear me.”
Carlos puts his arm around her,
”Don't tell me you tryna hit on my date mane.”
”Get serious. This shouldn't take too long, Carlos, tell the valet to 'do a lap'. He'll know what it means.”
He tosses the keys and do as I said. The man nods and take the car around back.
”Switch to camera 6.”
An inside view of the building is in the tv. Everything seems to be normal. People are socializing and drinking.
”Kaz, go to the bathroom.”
She nods,
”Excuse me, I have to run off to the restroom.”
Carlos moves out of her way and continues to talk to others.
”Ok, i'm in the bathroom, what did you need me to do?”
”I've placed a blade in the last stall. I'm sure you know how to handle one.”
”Right. All I do now is act normal and wait for the bomb?”
”Exactly. When you've finished, the others will be waiting for you and Carlos in the back.”
She slides the blade in a thigh holster.
”I must say I find it incredibly sexy that you have one of those on.”
She rolls her eyes,
”Keep it in your pants.”
She fixes her dress and head back out to the party.
”Ah, nice of you to join us, Negative.”
Her eyes get wide and her face turns pale. I know that face. It's her...
”Mother. Nice to see you're doing well.”
She gives Kaz a limp handshake,
”Who is this young man?”
”This is Carlos. He invited me as his date tonight.”
He holds out his hand,
”Nice to meet you, Ms.?”
