”What have you said about my disciple?” Chu Mingshu approached them. The question was for Yu Qi.
”Huh? What are you talking about? She has never said anything about your disciple.” Feng Yue did not want to be rude but this was too much.
”Elder, I have not said anything about your disciple. I have just rejected her help. That's all.” Yu Qi looked straight at Chu Mingshu.
”Then, why...” Chu Mingshu wanted to say more but Chi Yuan stopped him.
”Teacher, don't mind about this.” Chi Yuan said with an aggrieved face.
”Mingshu... I think your disciple can enter the entertainment world. She really can act.” An old woman appeared.
”Madam Zheng.” Everyone greeted her.
Zheng Zhuxian was another expert in stone gambling. She was Chu Mingshu's rival. She had watched the whole situation and analysed it differently than others.
From the start, it was Chu Mingshu's disciple who come over and talked to the girl. The girl clearly disliked Chu Mingshu's disciple. However, Chu Mingshu's disciple kept talking and even offered her help in order to make herself look better.
Chu Mingshu's disciple used her position as Chu Mingshu's disciple to make the girl look bad in front of others and make the girl get criticized by others. What a vicious girl!
”What do you mean by that?” Chu Mingshu questioned Zheng Zhuxian.
Zheng Zhuxian glanced at Chi Yuan once and moved her eyes to Chu Mingshu again.
”Why don't you ask your disciple why is she acting like that? This girl...” Zheng Zhuxian pointed to Yu Qi. ”She doesn't say anything rude and has just politely rejected your disciple's help. Why does she make the thing bigger?”
When Zheng Zhuxian said that, some people were kind of realized the matter. It seemed 'Miss Chi' was deliberately leading them to criticize the other young girls.
Chu Mingshu turned his view to Chi Yuan asking for her explanation.
”I just want to help her. Nothing else. Stone gambling is dangerous. So I think it is better for her to guide her about that since it is not her expertise.” The longer Chi Yuan opened her mouth, the more confident she became.
Yeah, she offered help to Yu Qi because she thought Yu Qi was new in the stone gambling since she was a doctor. And the hidden purpose that she wanted Yu Qi to say something to Long Hui.
If Long Hui knew that she helped his fiancee, he might have a better understanding of her. Long Hui would think she was a kind girl because she even helped his fiancee. That was what she aimed for.
”How do you know this is not her expertise?” Zheng Zhuxian asked.
”Because she is a doctor.” Chi Yuan said. It was a fact that even Yu Qi could deny that.
”Is that so, Miss?” Zheng Zhuxian asked Yu Qi.
