In the beginning, she dislike Yu Qi for a little bit. She assumed that Yu Qi got into this hospital because of her family background. But after observing the girl for a while, she understood.

The girl was a gem in the medical world. Yu Qi proved to her that she (Yu Qi) had the ability to be a good doctor. Doctor Zhu Shang read what Yu Qi wrote in the cover letter that she wanted to be a surgeon and she really aimed for it.

Doctor Zhu Shang had already heard about Yu Qi's deed when she was the intern. Doctor Zhu Shang, of course, had some friends over there. The doctors over there praised Yu Qi highly.

And what the shocking thing that Doctor Zhu Shang heard was that the girl became a lead surgeon on one of the surgeries done when the natural disaster had happened.

Yu Qi entered the ward where she was going to check a patient who just came out of Laparoscopic Appendix Removal (Appendectomy) Surgery. Before going to the ward, she had already read about the patient's information.

The patient requested to discharge earlier. But the hospital did not allow it. Doctor Zhu Shang asked Yu Qi to go and check the patient and determine if the patient was in good condition or not to be discharged.

When she stopped in front of the door, there were a pair of bulky men who were standing there in black suits which indicated their identities as bodyguards, blocked her from entering the room.

”What is your purpose?” One of the men asked.

”The patient has requested to discharge. So, I have come here to check his condition.” Yu Qi answered without feeling a bit scared.

”Wait here.” The man said before he entered the room himself.

Yu Qi nodded and did not mind waiting outside. She remembered that this ward was a private ward. The patient inside was probably someone who came from rich people.

Not less than 30 seconds, the man came out and invited Yu Qi to enter. When she entered the room, she saw another three bulky men. Two were guarding the windows and another one was standing beside the patient bed.

Yu Qi then looked at the patient's face. Nie Feng La. With an unchangeable expression on Yu Qi's face, she began her job.

”I am Doctor Tang. I will check your condition to see whether you can be discharged or not.” Yu Qi introduced herself and told him about her purpose.

Nie Feng La nodded. Yu Qi checked the wounded areas. There was not any swelling in these areas. Then she checked the temperature. It was normal.

It was important to check the temperature because in some cases, there were some patients had a fever over 101 degree Celsius after doing the procedure.
