Chapter 104: Lets Begin Demons!! (1/2)

Ere”Oi Oi Marcus... If it's over, can you come down?. Let's get this over with”

The Inner Demon poked his ears and looked at Marcus who was adoring something imperceptible to his eyes.

”Yea yea... I'm coming... By the way, you won't believe what I just got”

Marcus said as he jumped from the 15 meter statue. He landed safely on the ground and seemed to grin smugly.

But that was then when he realized something.

He realized something that he ignorantly let go through his mind.

He was oblivious of the fact that he had no powers... Which meant if he landed from that height, then his legs should have at least sprained if not broken.

He recollected his memories back to a minute when the Demon called him down. It was as if he knew, Marcus would jump without hesitating. It was as if some part of his plan had worked successfully.

[”Oi Oi Marcus... If it's over, can you come down?. Let's get this over with”]

”What did he mean by that?”

Marcus could only think as a sudden shift of air thrust his spine.

The demon was right in front of him, then who was it??.

”I said let's end it Marcus... I've had enough of playing as your system administrator.”

That was when it struck him yet again. The cold rod of realization and the hot rod of reflex as he remembered what the demon had said to him.

Marcus held the hard obsidian fist of his demon which was about to strike his spine. He clutched it hard as he realized what the demon wanted. Marcus had successfully blocked the demon's attack, that too one from his blind spot.

The Powers!! THEY WERE BACK!!.

And right now, the demon had used his skill to replicate and create a clone.

But the only flaw in the plan or it would be better to say, he ran out of luck, because...

Marcus got his powers back as well.

The cloned demon, in reflex, pulled his hand away from Marcus and jumped back 10 meters away...

It planned on creating some distance between him and Marcus.

It at least tried to create some considerable distance from its target...

but it was in vain...

Just as Marcus realized his powers were back, he whizzed through the air and without any hesitation slit the throat of the obsidian rock clone which was about to land on the ground behind him with just his fingers.

His speed was terrifying, even for the real inner demon, it all seemed quite...impressive to him.

”Then let's end it here inner demon... You want some fun after being trapped and closed for 18 years don't you?”

Marcus chuckled, but it was clear that the tone of voice in which he spoke portrayed immense anger.

”Sure, Kekekekkkk...”

The demon's laugh was ear piercing as he let it out while spreading his hands forward and bending backward, facing the roof with his terrifying eyes and black red obsidian face.

”But before that.!! Let's just call the mastermind behind the plan!!! Oii!! Flame bastard, you coming out or what??”

The demon etched his eyes onto Marcus, who for some reason, didn't seem surprised as much as the demon thought he would be.

”Pyraze... he's calling out to you.”

Marcus smirked.

Just as both of them called out for the flame berserker, a terrifying aura befell on the surrounding. Of course, it wasn't enough to break a sweat from Marcus, but it would have crushed a country if it was a tad bit more than how much Marcus was enduring now.

Marcus's body erupted into flames just as the aura multiplied. A hand emerged out from Marcus's bare chest, It was an appalling scene to behold. A hand striped with black and grey rings but covered with lava emerged from the very center of his chest, it was almost as if it emerged from Marcus's heart.

But as for our hero?.

He wasn't fazed by it at all.

Instead, Marcus broke the slow motion entry of The obvious, Flame Berserker, by yanking him out of his body with his bare hands.

The entry of the flame berserker would have been noted down in history as the coolest if it weren't for Marcus pulling him out with a grin.
