Chapter 100: The Hidden Files: The Answer To All Plot Holes - 2 (1/2)
On the very center of the screen was a familiar 'Play' button.
Marcus, without any hesitation, clicked on the button.
*Pant* *Pant*
It was a movie... It looked like one.
What played before Marcus was someone panting heavily while walking through the familiar dungeon of the nine tails. But the viewpoint in which it was exhibited was, oddly, in the first person.
The experience, for him, felt like he was dwelling inside the movie.
Just like Virtual Reality!!.
And with the 8D sound ringing inside his ears, it was ultra realistic.
The man, who could be probably Marcus as he thought, was walking through the woods.
Suddenly, the bushes beside him started crinkling. Marcus watched as the man on the screen tried to start running.
....
And his eyes shot open at the gore, the vision emanated...
....
The man, just as he tried to run, his legs erupted. The screen was filled with blood. Blood from the man's legs had burst open and the legs no more existed.
Marcus grabbed his head and squeezed it... It was as if his head would blow from the excruciating pain which radiated from the screen to his body.
The man inside the screen had his legs burst open... but how?.
The pain was killing Marcus while he clenched his teeth, trying to ameliorate it as much as possible. He lifted his right hand, which was the free one, and clicked on the button which said.
'Change Perspective'
*Click*
The pain died down as he clicked on the button, Marcus breathed in a huge sigh of relief as he straightened his vision back to the screen.
The movie, once again, had begun playing, but this time just as he thought, the viewpoint had altered.
It had shifted from the first person to a whole new third person view perspective. To Marcus, the perspective change was expected, but the scenes weren't at all.
Marcus' eyes widened as his eyes met the scenes yet again, but this time with much detail.
He watched as the man... No! The Boy... which was just like Marcus thought... was HIM!!, his younger self.
Marcus watched his previous self as he walked through the jumbled wilderness.
He watched as the bush beside the boy rustled.
And he watched and gasped when he saw the boy's attempt at a run.
Marcus couldn't speculate what he saw. What he saw was not at all what he had expected he would see.
Even though some similar ideas of the vision had run before inside his train of thoughts... he never had given attention to it at all, until he saw the analogous vision unfold before him.
The excruciating pain eventually exploded again into his body as he gawked at the boy on the screen.
But it was under the radar of expectations for Marcus.
He now knew why the boy's legs had burst open.
It was not because he was attacked.
It transpired because... he was simply, not able to control his insane power.
The boy on the screen, who had just got his 'Centillion Speed' had tried to use it the first time, which caused his inexperienced legs to burst open because of the intense power.
The screen dulled as Marcus closed his eyes.
Now he comprehended what his second trauma was.
It was seemingly, the ineptitude to handle his Creator bestowed powers.
But that wasn't the only lesson he learned.
”So that's what happened... I understand. Yes, I do. I now know how destructive my powers could be... Not only for others but for me as well. Haha... So control is what I lack.”
*Break*
*Break*
*Fall*
*Rustle*
”You are back again Marcus?. That was quick”
The demon's enunciation found Marcus.
”Yea Yea... It was quick... But it hurt a lot more than the previous one did.”
Marcus replied, rubbing his dust off from his red hair. He was on the grassy patched ground when he woke up.
Marcus blinked his eyes several times before looking around. He was still in the second dungeon, but he was sure that he had just overcome the second trauma.
To ensure that, he sat up and looked down at his torso.
