Armstrong laughed heartily, extremely satisfied with Bronfield Archie’s loyalty.
“It’s here, the divinity crystal is here!”
Everyone’s gaze could not help but turn towards the golden beam of light that was shooting towards them from the sky.
Meanwhile, in the rebel army’s eastern mountain range…
An incomparably sharp cry suddenly rang out.
“Chirp!”
The cry appeared very abruptly.
So much so that no one could react in time.

They came face-to-face with a creature with a red lion’s body, a human face, human ears, and blue eyes. It had three rows of sharp teeth on its upper and lower jaw, and its tail was like a scorpion with fatally poisonous stingers.
It shot up into the sky from the forest on the mountain.
In an instant, it tore through thousands of miles in the sky and rushed in the direction of the golden light.
“Oh no, the rebel army has made a move.”
Bronfield Archie roared in anger as he transformed into a stream of light and leaped into the sky.
The Divinity Fragment was his rightful reward. How could he let others take it away?
“Roar!”
Bronfield Archie burst in anger.
A huge goat pet beast with lava on its body appeared beside Bronfield Archie.
With a flash, it instantly fused with Bronfield Archie!
Whoosh!
Bronfield Archie chanted a short incantation, and an instant later, he blurted out, ”
He blurted out,
“Flaming Purple Jade!”
Boom!!!
A huge and hot purple orb that was formed from magma turned into a ray of light and shot towards the pet beast that was attempting to steal his reward!
However…
The pet beast had no intention of dodging. Instead, it opened its mouth wide.
Gulp!!
The pet beast had swallowed the purple fireball into its stomach.
“How… How is this possible! ?”
Bronfield Archie’s eyes were filled with shock. He could not believe what he had just seen.
After all, that was his strongest attack after fusing with his pet!
It had been swallowed effortlessly by the pet in mid-air.
Before he could react, however, the pet beast returned the shot at him.
An even more terrifying purple fire ball flew towards him at lightning speeds.
“Not good!”
Bronfield Archie’s expression changed drastically. He subconsciously gathered all his strength and formed a flame shield in front of him.
However, much to Bronfield Archie’s dismay, the moment the purple orb made contact, his shield instantly shattered.
Bronfield Archie screamed as he plummeted to the ground.
Nevertheless, the lion-like beast did not even spare a second glance at Bronfield Archie. Instead, it swallowed the Elemental Divinity Fragment that was wrapped in the golden light in a single gulp.
“BURP!”
