Chapter 199: True motive of the creed! (1/2)
Pfft!
Lucien spat out a mouthful of blood as the rhinos rammed into him but thanks to the dragon scales he could endure the reduced damage but this left his body aching.
Bang!
Lucien's body struck the ground hard and his eyes felt unusually heavy but he couldn't afford to go to sleep right now! In a world where the enemy is the sole god here, Lucien couldn't afford to be lazy. He has heard of Anomalies of various types but he has never heard of someone successfully escaping it but that wasn't enough to kill his fighting spirit. Many failed to escape and even he is destined to die here, it doesn't mean he would just sit there and wait for death!
Boom!
Lucien barely jumped out of the way when the massive gorilla descended on his previous location. His body shivered slightly as he saw the serpent shooting towards him with what looked like a centipede burrowing through the ground as it charged towards him! Countless birds were hovering over them, leaving Lucien in a dilemma. The ground was not safe and the air was even worse. According to the little he knew about an anomaly, Lucien knew that an anomaly is a domain that is linked to the creator! As long as he can reach the edges of the anomaly and attack it, the bald champion realm master will take damage but then there is only one problem!
He was surrounded by hordes of spirit beasts of different forms and shapes! Leaving this place is almost impossible, not to talk of reaching the edges. As a fighter and one who never quits at that Lucien sighed and decided to pour all his strength into this final move. This is the ultimate technique of his Azure mode and he knew this act will leave him in a paralyzed state for a while, leaving him vulnerable!
Boom!
With no other choice Lucien let out a loud cry as his aura exploded violently but that didn't stop the beasts from charging towards him. Seeing this Lucien knew he had only one shot at this so he couldn't mess up even if he desperately wanted to.
Roar!
A terrifying growl could be heard as his aura surged upwards alongside the dragon Scales on his body! Above his head, they took the shape of a massive blue Chinese serpent dragon! Compared to it all the other spirit beasts looked like midgets and even Lucien looked like a rat beside its feet!
”Soar!” Lucien roared as he disregarded his safety and watched the dragon shoot towards the sky.
His eyes let out a bright blue flash as his muscles tightened and his body leaned forward before he struck forward.
”Azure dragon style: Roar of the Azure Dragon!” Lucien growled as he watched the massive beast let out a loud scream before releasing a massive beam of blue flames towards the sky!
Upon releasing the attack, the dragon slowly faded away just as Lucien's vision was fading. Everything was blurry and his legs were too weak to carry him. His body fell to the ground but not before he heard the painful cry of the enemy and regardless of the outcome now he was satisfied.
”I protected them just like I said I will... Emperor” Lucien muttered as his vision faded and he fell to the ground like a rag doll.

Lucien felt true peace for the first time in a while. It was completely dark and silent and any normal person would assume he or she is dead but as someone who has experienced death before, Lucien was sure death can't be this peaceful, especially someone like him who harbors the Rakuzen sign on his body. He waved his hands around his face and even though he could see it everything around him was pitch black.
Lucien was no fool to believe this was some sort of dream since he was well aware of what it felt like to be unconscious and sing Rakuzen has not yet tried to communicate with him so he concluded that someone else was messing with his mind!
”Show yourself!” Lucien said coldly and almost immediately he got a response.
”Your perception is quite high... Only one out of a million will notice the irregularities here and defend against them properly... Weldone kid” A voice echoed from the distance and soon a person came into view.
