The entire room was silent and the Emperor didn't seem ready to speak any time soon, yet no one dared complain or make a sound. They all watched in silence as the emperor gazed at the ceiling of the room for a while without saying a thing. His eyes occasionally darted around but it never went too far from the nobles.
”Show them” He finally said and instructor Han stepped forward.
He pulled out a luminous crystal and from it a beam of light shot into the air. The light soon formed what seemed like a screen and there everyone saw something they never expected. They watched as Lucien and Lukas darted around the forests throwing countless blows at each other while leaving the entire landscape in ruins.
Their actions were so swift and precise, it looked like a black bolt of lightning chasing after the white bolt of lightning. Even though Emperor Fei completely believes in Lucien, even he couldn't help but feel anxious when leaving the kid to fight against someone like Lukas. Lukas is someone even he acknowledged in the past, so not keeping an eye on Lucien while the fight takes place is not something he could do.
The nobles watched in complete shock since they never expected to see something like this. They always knew Lucien and Lukas always had bad blood but they never thought the duo would ever have the chance to settle scores. Klaus of the Lightborn clan was more intrigued than the rest since he wanted to see Lucien's true strength.

At this point, realized that he will most likely lose if things continue going this way. It's only a matter of time before he runs out of energy.

”Abok!” Lucien growled as he charged forward without looking back.
His eyes let out black bolts as the Abok turned into a gray most and surged into his body. The serpent tattoo appeared on his hand once again and his body darkened as he activated the steel skin skill!

Their fists struck, creating a powerful shockwave that left many stunned as they watched Lukas retract his fist with a pained expression on his face. Upon colliding with Lucien, Lukas felt like he struck an immovable mountain! He heard the cracking sounds of his bones and for the very first time, he realized something. All this while he has been fighting alone, but Lucien has never been alone!
He is struggling to subdue Lucien with his full power and is yet to take into account his beast associations or his spirit beast techniques! At this moment all he could think of is flee! His body jerked back in an attempt to increase the distance between them but Lucien chased after him tightly causing him to result in his ultimate escape skill.
