The burly huge man frowned as Lucien's aura clashed with his and he could feel himself getting overwhelmed. He thought Lucien was trying to act modestly when he was underestimating himself, but it seems he was deliberately trying to talk down his achievements. While the huge Lightborn clan patriarch was like a blinding golden sun, covering one half of the room, Lucien was like a pair of villainous silver eyes hiding within a gray mist and gazing at his foe with intense killing intentions.

Judging based on the terrified looks on the faces of the other Lightborn family members, Lucien slightly understood the way this family works. While they may look glamorous on the outside, while giving off a holy and tamed aura, it seems that these people are not as free as many think. Their patriarch could be considered a cruel man who uses fear to control his subordinates.

”Nice one kid, you are truly amazing to be able to match power with me even with your pitiful cultivation realm but this is where it ends, It's a hundred years too early for you to challenge me!” The Lightborn family patriarch roared as he grabbed the void and pulled down!

A massive golden sword appeared above Lucien making the entire castle tremble as it descended like a divine judgment delivered by the god of light.

Compared to the Judgement spear of the invaders, your light magic is nothing but childsplay!” Lucien laughed out loud as he put on his blue mask and his aura exploded violently. Countless visions of him getting skewered by the attack flashed across his eyes but one showcased his brilliance in battle, making a smile bloom on his face!

”I see everything!” Lucien growled as the serpent tattoo on his hand glowed as his body darkened the moment he coated it with metal.

The blue dragon appeared above his head and then condensed into a blue dragon spear and with a light tap, it began twirling viciously, creating a whirlpool of blue flames!

Both combatants growled as an explosion occurred, shattering the table and sending other Lightborn family members flying meters back! They watched in horror from afar as the blue whirlpool of fire clashed viciously with the golden broadsword.

”It's over! Take my fist!” Lucien growled as he punched towards the man and black lightning surged forward, taking the shape of the Azure blue Chinese serpent dragon!

Hearing the life-like roar of magic from a youth who never learned creation magic startled everyone and but the Lightborn family patriarch remained unmoved and summoned what looked like light armor! He let out a magnificent glow that made many instinctively want to pray to this invincible being but when the attack struck him, no one expected what happened!

”Aarrrrrrgggghhhhh!” The Lightborn clan Patriarch let out a painful cry as his body was thrown to the other side of the room with the attack.

The man's face turned dangerously pale and even though he had no wound on him, he seemed to be badly injured by Lucien's attack. The golden sword above Lucien crumbled and only then the Lucien let out a breath of relief but he too had a pale face, Luckily, it was hidden under the azure dragon mask.

”Lucien Rakuzen submits to no one under the heavens… You don't have what it takes to make the Rakuzen clan submit to you… You either work with me as equals or you forget it!” Lucien's domineering voice made the hearts of all those who heard it shudder in fear as they gazed at him.

”What was that?” the Lightborn clan patriarch asked as he tried to adjust his breathing while casting a healing light spear on himself but then he frowned. Just as he expected, his soul was what took the brunt of the attack, and if it wasn't for his paladin pathway that reinforces his soul while grants him a means of healing soul-related injuries, he would have remained bedridden for a few weeks before dying.

To think this youth can combine both magic and soul power together to form something so terrifying!
