Chapter 21 - Asking for help (1/2)
Yu Yan felt slightly relieved, she did not want to be Li Yi Feng's adoptive sister. She had loved him for so many years, though she had let go, she still had some feelings left. That was also the reason why his rejection hurt. She did not know that he was so disgusted by her.
Old master Li was furious. He could accept that his grandson did not like the woman he had chosen. After seeing the outcome of the forced marriage, he had decided to not interfere with Li Yi Feng's matters anymore. However, his brat was too much! He dared to interfere in his matters. But even before he was able to yell back at his grandson, Li Yi Feng had already turned around to leave.
”I won't accept! No matter what, you can't adopt her.” Leaving these words behind, Li Yi Feng stormed out.

At the Yun family's home, father Yun was still worried about his daughter. He had tried everything he could, but someone was blocking him. The video was still there and Yun Feng was already known as a scheming woman. Because of the incident that happened more than a month ago, things had already turned bad for the company. He was already having a hard time keeping it. Yun Feng's reputation was getting worse, this was in turn affecting him. Family friends that were ready to help had started to distance themselves.
To be honest he was very disappointed in his daughter. He had made her get close to Yu Yan because of her connection to the Li family. Both he and his wife were aware of his daughter's growing affection and obsession with Li Yi Feng. They were happy and did not object. After all, to have a son-in-law like him would be their honour. Unfortunately, CEO Li had married Yu Yan. However, having a connection to madam Li was also good. But Yun Feng had not been ready to give up. At first, he had been concerned. But seeing how his daughters scheming had gone unnoticed he silently agreed to her plans. However, he regretted it now. He should have been stricter with her. Pampering her too much had caused all this. Even at this point, he could not abandon his darling daughter that was the cause of his misfortune, but it did not seem like he was able to help either.
After thinking about it for a long time, he concluded that only the Li family could help his daughter out of this situation. Even though he knew how much his daughter hated Yu Yan, he could only let her bow down to that woman and ask for help.

Yun Feng was enraged, to think that she had to beg for that sl*t's help! No matter what she did not want to do it, but her father had no other way left to help her. She had no other choice but to swallow down her pride and ask for help from the woman who had caused all her problems. Even until now, she still blamed Yu Yan for everything not even considering that everything had been the result of her scheming.
She had tried calling and leaving messages but was ignored. To think she would one day be ignored by Yu Yan. She had then gone to find the woman at her home, but the doors were locked and password changed. She could not get in.
'How dare she!'
Left with no other choice, she waited outside for hours without even seeing Yu Yan's shadow. Only when it became dark did Yu Yan return home. Anger arose, but she had learned her lesson from last time. She gritted her teeth and smiled gently as she spoke. ”Ah Yan, what took you so long? I have been waiting for hours. Why are you ignoring my calls?”
Looking at the woman acting pitiful in from of her, Yu Yan was left speechless. Ignoring her calls? Of course, she had long since blocked her number, Why would she answer? ”What are you doing here? I've been busy all day and didn't have time to check my phone,” Yu Yan said.
