Chapter 87 - Planning Before hand!! (2/2)

”Hmph. Good riddance!” A woman in a certain place said coldly. This was Erica who was watching the match from her clan gathering area. Baron bȧrė his fist and swung it with incredible force that it broke through the air.

”Huh!” At that moment, Baron was stunned, Athena had disappeared right before him.”She got away, you little slippery bitch, where are you!?” Baron looked around but didn't see her anywhere, he then looked up but still saw nothing.

”Right here, idiot.” Baron froze for a second, he was looking up at this time and heard a voice. He looked in front of him and saw Athena. Baron was pissed and swung his fist again but something happened, he was hit in his stomach by Athena's fist. The sound of his ribs could be heard breaking while some of his organs shattered! Baron was sent flying out of the ring like a torpedo, his eyes were all white which indicated that he had fainted.

Baron slammed into the wall and onto the ground. There was silent throughout the area, no one spoke. Athena's father's mouth dropped, he couldn't believe his daughter had grown so strong in such a short amount of time, this was truly unthinkable by normal standards. Athena looked at the ref who had shock in his eyes.

”Ah, winner, Athena of the Phoenix clan!” Athena nodded and walked off the stage without even looking at the crowd's reaction. The crowd suddenly broke out into cheers after the shock, they never expected her to get so strong. This was her second match, and they felt she won by a fluke for her first match but now it didn't seem so.

While everyone was cheering, there were some that weren't happy about this, of course. ”How could she get so strong so fast? Her power level was much lower than what I heard, did you guys give me false information?” The man that spoke was the leader of the Divine Saber Tooth Clan. He was the one responsible for the ȧssassination of so many members of other clans. He wore gold robes, his eyes were sharp like a feline. He had a black beard and mustache, with yellow eyes.

”We don't know, sir. Her power level was shown to be around the lower millions area just recently, something has changed and we don't know how she got so strong in such a short amount of time.” The elder next to him said helplessly.

”Hmm, Son, do you believe you can handle that little Phoenix clan miss?” The clan leader looked at his son and questioned. His son was all smiles, he didn't look worried at all.

”Oh, dad, some trash Phoenix clan can't hope to beat me, she can't even be my maid, better yet, she can't even take out my trash, Haha!” The young master laughed, he didn't put any of these people here in his eyes. He was only worried about the Shadow Panther Clan young master and that was it.

”Good son, if you run into her, be sure to kill her by mistake, this is for the best.” The clan leader's face turned sinister, he had been trying to have her ȧssassinated but hadn't heard from them lately which was totally unexpected.

”Dad, don't they prohibit killing here? I could get in trouble if that happens.” He seemed worried about the consequences that would occur afterward.

”Cyrin, you don't have to worry about that, I'll cover you, after all, mistakes happen all the time.” The clan leader smiled knowingly.

”Hehe, I understand, dad. I'll be sure to kill her off when we meet up!” Looking at Athena from afar, killing intent flashed in his eye. The clan head, seeing her growth, was a little worried, it was too fast. If he allowed her to grow then there would surely be some trouble that would follow in the future for their plans.

”That marks the end of today's matches, come back tomorrow for round 2 of the tournament! Remember, the tournament lasts for 3 days before the champion is decided! Everyone clan has their own part of the battle dome where your sleeping quarters are located.” The announcer spoke through the loudspeaker to ensure that everyone heard him. After he was done speaking, people started to leave the seating area, forming a crowd of people.

The King approached his daughter. ”Incredible, you've truly grown much stronger, this is a miracle! Tell me, how did you train to get so strong so fast?” The king looked anxious to know. This didn't make sense at all, her growth was too sudden.

Athena sighed in her heart, she knew Kayn didn't want anyone to know. ”Sorry, dad, this is secret training that Kayn has provided to me and Ariel and we can't tell anyone about it, ever.”

”Ah, I see. Well, it's whatever then, as long as you continue to get stronger then it doesn't matter.” The king scratched his head, he was a bit disappointed but didn't ask anymore about it. They slowly left the battle area to the location of their other clan members, Marshal and the other boy who represented the clan followed along. Marshal was stunned seeing how strong Athena got himself, he was a bit worried seeing the change.

Time passed, and the next day rolled around. At this time, Kayn was hunting before he would enter the hyperbolic time chamber. ”The food inside the ship won't do, I need some food in large bulk. A while back I encountered a huge crab, I think I'll have me some crab before entering the chamber, haha!” Kayn soon arrived in the same area he caught the huge fish back then.

Kayn thought for a moment, he would need some bait in order to catch some crabs. ”The last time it was drawn in by the fish I caught.” It was simple, he would catch some fish and bait the crab or crabs if possible. Kayn dove into the water, for any normal person, it would be hard to see anything inside this murky water, but for Kayn, it was very clear. Kayn easily spotted a school of those huge fish and attacked them instantly. He killed one and took it to shore. The fish scatter when one of their members was killed instantly.

”Alright, how do I go about with this?” Kayn thought for a moment and called to the system. ”Give me a huge boiling pot, make sure it's filled with purified water.” Kayn was going to throw the crab into the boiling water alive like the traditional way people cooked crabs

”Okay, but before that, give me some seafood spice, corn, and potatoes as well! I want a decent amount for the pot!” After saying that, the pot appeared with corn and potatoes inside. This all cost Kayn 1,800 system points which was nothing to him as of now. Kayn cut into the fish to ensure that it was bleeding good enough and left it onshore. After about thirty minutes of waiting, three-figures started to come from out of the water.

”Ima eat good today!” Kayn's eyes were full of greed!
