Chapter 83 - Troublesome Bunch!! (2/2)
Erica stared at both Kayn and Athena with annoyance but she would show Athena today and disrupt her legs and arms! As Kayn and his group were walking, they were approached by three men who wore golden armor. ”Are you the bodyguard of the Heavenly Phoenix clan!?” The man asked in a loud and overbearing voice.
”Don't start trouble here or else, it'll be bad, you better leave now!” Athena, seeing trouble coming, immediately spoke up. These people were from the Golden Lion clan, they appeared to be elders but they looked so young in age.
”Little girl, we weren't talking to you, you stay in a woman's place!” The man didn't even look at Athena and kept his eyes on Kayn.
”You...!” Athena was starting to get angry seeing the disrespect this man was giving her. But before she could say anymore, Ariel spoke next.
”He is, so what does it have to do with you?” Ariel never liked the Golden Lion clan, in fact, they could be considered enemies to some degree. Her dad asked her to invite the Golden Lion young master to her party just to not gain another enemy. Ariel's clan was stronger than the Golden Lion clan but they were being supported by them.
”You're from the White Tiger clan and their young miss at that, this has nothing to do with you so back off, please!” The man spoke in a harsh voice, he knew no respect; he just wanted to avenge his clan members and his young master.
Just when Kayn was about to act, a powerful force came out of nowhere. Everyone's facial expression turned green as the figure appeared. The man had white and black hair, it resembled stripes of a white tiger. The man wore all white, his clothes looked similar to piccolos in a way. His eyes were deep sea blue and he had a happy gentle face. This man was Ariel's father!
”Dad, you're here!” Ariel smiled upon seeing her dad appear. The man looked at the Lion clansmen and eyes glinted coldly, they all backed away in fear. The man from the golden lion clan steeled his will and looked at Kayn.
”Are you going to hide behind women and their dad as well? You're such a weakling!” Kayn suddenly looked at the man and a terrible oppressive aura crushed them to the ground.
”AHHHH~~~!” Howls of terror echoed throughout the hall! Everyone was shocked, who was using this force to crush this man? Everyone looked at the white tiger clan leader in horror and he looked around with an innocent face that seemed to be saying, it isn't me! Kayn withdrew his force and said nothing afterward but the white tiger clansmen leader knew it was him.
A telekinetic message was sent to Kayn's mind ”Kid, you have some skills, that was quite the force you used just now.” The Clan leader spoke with a smirk on his face, he was quite satisfied with what Kayn had just done.
”He had it coming. People like that can only talk trash but at the end of the day, they have no skills.” Kayn spoke loudly so everyone could hear it, the members of the Lion clan were angry with their current standing, they all walked away in embarrassment but didn't forget to give Kayn a deadly glare before leaving.
”Damn, the Golden Lion clan Elders bitched out!” One random dude said.
”Yeah, with the arrival of the tiger clan leader, who wouldn't?”
Many people from different clans shook their heads seeing the retreating Golden Lion clan. They were nothing in the face of the White Tiger clan leader. Both clans were affiliated with the Feline clan hierarchy, there were other Feline clans here as well but the White Tiger clan was one of the strongest amongst them.
”Wow, dad, you're so amazing! Those annoying Lion clansmen couldn't do anything to fight back!” Ariel thought her dad was the one who caused the men to be flattened and retreat. His mouth twitched as he looked at his daughter's excited face.
”Ariel, come with me, the battle will start soon and we have front-row seats to the competition.” Ariel looked at Kayn and Athena. Kayn nodded, indicating that he should go with her father. Athena hugged Ariel and she left with her father just like that.
Athena, Kayn and Marshal went to their fighting area where there were multiple battle rings. Kayn didn't plan on staying, he wanted to tell her about Mars and the plan he had to ȧssassinate her father. He also knew the clan that was behind the scenes causing trouble and killing several other clan decadence off. ”Athena, let me talk to you for a bit in private, just the two of us!” Kayn gave marshal a knowing look.
”Sure, let's talk.” Seeing the seriousness in Kayn's face, she agreed immediately, it was not like she wouldn't have agreed anyway. Marshal, upon hearing what Kayn had just said, his face darkened a bit.
”What is it that someone like me can't hear? Let's take a seat and hear what you have to..” Before he could finish, Kayn had already grabbed Athena and teleported away! Marshal's face turned red from anger. ”A mere medicine boy dares to ignore me, just wait!” Marshal walked away in huge strides.
Meanwhile, Kayn appeared outside the city with Athena. ”I'm going to insert the memories into your head from the higher-ups in Order of Assassins. You will only receive the relevant memories about the people in the shadows causing these things to happen.” Athena's face changed, she always wanted to confront Kayn about the memories he had retrieved but was too scared to find out the truth.
”Once you find out, don't act immediately. I will show your father some other time.” Athena nodded slowly, her heart was racing! ”Here we go!” Kayn attached something to her head and activated the Mind scanning device to insert the memories.
