Kayn heard multiple notification going off his head, he was so happy, he just earned big with these kills! There were no survivors to be found according to the system, all were dead! ”Haha, money, money, and more money!” Kayn laughed like a maniac, he gained so much system points from destroying this base of people in it.
Kayn looked at the mission and found that it had changed to 1 out 3. This confirmed that he had indeed completed this part of the mission. All that was left of the mountain was a huge crater that no one could see the end of.
”This...” Athena and Ariel didn't know what to say. Kayn landed in front of them in his super Saiyan 3 form. They didn't know what to say for a while until Athena spoke up after some time.
”Y..you destroyed the whole mountain, how will I be able to question the culprits behind the scene causing trouble? They're all definitely dead, that is for sure.” Athena didn't know what to say she had lost her chance of question the ȧssassins.
”Don't worry, this was only a side branch of their bases, we'll head to the main branch and get our answers.” Right when he said that, the system spoke again about another intermission. ”Okay, lets head to the next base, like always, hold on again.” Kayn said with a smile. Ariel kept staring at Kayn like he was a new species that was discovered, she was just fascinated with his appearance.
They did their usual routine and the system, once again warped them away. They all appeared on a different planet. They appeared in front of a mansion, but they were at the gate of the mansion. ”System, I'm guessing that this mansion is the 2nd base of the Order of Assassins.” Kayn asked
[Correct!]
The system gave him a simple answer. ”Haha, good, the order of ȧssassins aren't worth nothing! You guys get back, its showtime!” At that moment, a guard from the mansion showed
”Aye, you idiot! Get lost or I'll have to hurt you! This is private property, you shouldn't be here yelling like a dumbass!” The man looked at Kayn menacingly.
Kayn ignored him and began to power up a death Sphere! ”You! What are you doing!?” The guard was shocked seeing Kayn's bold move.
”Haha, stop playing stupid! This obviously the base of the order of ȧssassins, get out!” Kayn looked at the man in contempt.
The man's face changed to shock but then it turned sinister. ”Hehe, I can't allow you to live you little bastard!” The man shot multiple Ki blast attacks at Kayn but the minute they were about to land on him, the nova-like attack would simple absorb it and grow larger.
”What!?” The guard exclaimed! Kayn launched the attack. Winds shot up and so did the temperature, the man jumped out of the way of the attack. ”Ha, what can you do!?” The guard taunted but something strange happened, the Death sphere was pulling him in like some sort of magnetic pull.
”AH! Nooo! What is going on, why is it pulling me in!?” The man was stunned stupid, he cried and cried but his crying didn't stop the nova blast from pulling him in! ”AHHHHH!” He was incinerated on the spot as the attack continued onward, it then landed on the mansion.
”Ka-me-ha-me-haaaaa!”
Kayn shot a blast toward the Nova attack, he was mimicking Kid Buu's warp Kamehameha Technique. Kayn had already told Athena and Ariel to run, this attack was no joke. It was complete destruction and like last time, he heard several notification in his head. The shockwave destroyed a lot of trees in the area. He didn't care for much on this planet and decided to leave immediately.
The system mission had updated, so that meant that everything was finished here. ”Okay, let's go! Are you guys ready?” Kayn questioned. They both silently looked at Kayn, he had destroyed two Order of ȧssassin bases effortlessly.
”Ah, Yes, we are ready. The next base is where we'll have to get our answers.” Athena said calmly.
”Of course, oh yeah! I might not be able to watch your backs for this next one. I want you guys to take these, if things get bad, then wear them.” Kayn took out the Potara earrings and tossed one to each of them.
”What are these, they look really strange.” Ariel couldn't help but exclaim, she had never seen earring like this before. Athena looked at Kayn with a questioning look as well, she also wanted to know.
”Haha, they are special. They will allow the both of you to fuse together to become one, thus your power level will skyrocket. Don't worry, the fusion isn't permanent, you'll separate once 30 minutes have passed.” Kayn began to explain more, it took him 2 minutes before they completely understood.
”These earrings are so amazing, I'll be sure to wear them when the time is right!” Athena said as she looked at Ariel. Ariel simply nodded and smiled, she wasn't at all against this fusion thing, they were best friends after all.
”Okay, Let's go!” They both grabbed each other hands and warped away just like that. This time they appeared next to a huge castle, the skies were dark and sinister. Kayn already started hating this place, what they saw next was a huge black castle. They were in the woods next to the castle so there was no problem, the system had already started blocking everyone's Ki sense.
Just as Kayn was about to make his move, he thought of something. What if he couldn't get them to speak and they committed suicide like the last group he ran into. ”System, is there an item I can buy that can retrieve the memories of a person I've slain?” Kayn asked with hope.
