Chapter 42 - Meeting The Queen!! (2/2)

”Okay, follow me. I will lead the way to our city.” Kayn nodded and Elaina flew off into the sky, he gave Elena a wink and followed behind Elaina.

”Hmph, just you wait, you little bastard!” Elena whispered to herself. She then shot the sky and followed along. It took 20 minutes for them to arrive in the village. Kayn was amazed, he had seen the world tree from afar on his way here. The tree was huge, it was just as big as the tree of might.

”Who is that? Is he a prisoner? He must be a hostage!” Many people in the area began to whisper, the elves knew they were at war, as one could say. But they knew their people didn't take prisoners, so some banished the thought of him begin so, while others ran with it. They walked through the village until they saw a huge castle near the world tree, this must be where the queen and elders were.

They approached the castle and was stopped by two Guardians. ”Hold it right there, who is this man? No one, other than the Guardians and Defenders are allowed in the castle,” Kayn was quite happy to hear what she had just said, she called him a man! He finally understood something. Apparently, Guardians were the strongest of the two groups. The women both had some considerable power.

”He is our ally and can save our people from this war we're facing. Just look at what he has, it could help our people a lot.” Elaina looked at Kayn and he nodded, pulling out the golden seed of life. The guardians looked at the seed with shock, how was this possible!?

”Please, follow us! We'll guide you inside and call the elders.” The elf women signaled the 3 of them to follow them and the 3 did so. Once they were inside, one of the guardians ran off to get the elders. This process would usually take much longer but once they heard what the Guardian said, they moved with the quickness. The elders had come out from the huge silver doors ahead, there five in total. None of them looked like old women at all, they all looked like they were in the early thirties and late twenties.

”So, you're the one she spoke off. I hear that you can help us with our problems, is this true?” Kayn was stunned, he had expected them to be arrogant and maybe even force him to hand over the seed. His stereotypical way of thinking came crashing down in an instant.

”Yes, I can indeed help you with your problems. I have a way that would give your people a better life and many more resources to survive. I am sure you noticed already, your planet is dying and won't last long.” He laid down the truth that they were honestly didn't want to recall, it was just too saddening to hear any more about, but it was true.

”This... this is true, sadly. Come to the meeting room, so we can talk more about how to solve this problem.” The elder stopped for a bit then continued ”But.. before that, could you show us the seed?” She was super excited when she heard that the legendary seed had appeared and rushed here with the other elders. Kayn chuckled a bit and pulled out the Golden seed again, the elders jumped in delight, it looked like their eyes had turned into stars.

”This is great, it is true! It looks like our lives will be saved and we will become much stronger than before!” One of the other elders almost jumped Kayn seeing the seed he pulled out.

”Okay, follow us to the meeting room. Nora, go and get the queen, she must know of this great news!” The woman said full of spirit and joy. The other elder nodded and ran off, the guardians were surprised, they had never seen their superiors run before! They looked like children that were receiving candy for being good. The elder led Kayn, Elena, Elaina, and the other elder to the meeting room.

”Please, take a seat where ever you want, then we can continue to talk. The queen will be here soon, so relax a bit.” Kayn nodded and took a seat. Elaina sat next to him while Elena sat across from him, she would glare at him every now and then but Kayn ignored it.

At that moment, the elder walked in, she was accompanied by another individual. ”We're here, I have brought the queen as request.” It was clear that the elders also had ranks. The Elder went to sit down as she was followed by the queen of Elves.

The queen looked 13 years of age, she had long light pink hair. The queen was about 5,0 in height, but her ċhėst and buŧŧ were out of this world, she had such a pretty face that it caused Kayn to go dumbfounded for a bit. Dont be fooled, she was much older than what she looked, she just had a lot of life force within her. Kayn smiled as he looked at the Queen and she smiled back with a nod. This caused Elena to get angry.

”How Dare you looked at the Queen with those eyes, you damn pervert! I'll rip your eyes out of your sockets, fry them and feed them to the dogs!” Elena almost lunged at Kayn but remembered where she was.

”Elena, do you need to be removed from here!? If you dont shut up in the presence of the queen, then I'll kick you out!” Elaina was furious, how dare she talk like that in the presence of the queen, was she crazy!?

”Ah, sorry, sorry!” Elena stood up and bowed like a chicken pecking at grain.

”Please forgive Elena, she is just jealous that she lacks a brain. Please don't take it personally dear queen ”sniff sniff”, she is just an idiot!” Kayn rubbed his eyes as fake tears came out of his eyes. Elena almost vomited blood seeing his shameless behavior.

”It okay, it happens to the best of us.” The queen spoke in a sweet and loving voice. The queen took her seat and the meeting had finally started. ”So, Mr...”

”Kayn, My name is Kayn.” He finished it off for her, she didn't know his name.

”Alrighty Kayn, you said you could help us, right? Could you please explain everything to us?” The Queen said with a smile. She had eyes as blue as sapphires.

”As you know, your planet is doomed sadly. But, it isn't over yet, I have my own planet which is several times bigger than this Planet. I can give you and your people their own territory.” Kayn stopped and scanned everyone, their eyes clearly displayed surprise. ”My planet is in far better condition than yours' as well, I will also plant the seed of life in your territory for you to watch over it.” Kayn explained thoroughly what he wanted.

The queen's eyes were wide in surprise, no one said anything for about 2 minutes. ”Hmm, I would like to see this planet and feel it, then I would know if it is good or not. If it is as you say... then I will have my people migrate there. I have two more conditions as well, so that is 3 in total. ”The queen looked at kayn thoughtfully as she spoke.

”Uh, okay, you can tell me your conditions.” He wasn't sure what she would want, but he didn't mind.

”My second condition is for you to rescue our people. My third condition for you to ensure our safety while we are on your planet.” The queen stopped for a moment to look closely at Kayn expression and continued ”I know I'm asking too much but I would be really grateful if you could do so. The tree of life can produce Special fruits and liquid that could strengthen an individual's battle strength, life force and more. My people know a special method do so, we would be of great help to you.”

Kayn was going to say sure anyway, but she added all these things that would benefit him and his family out of the blue, this made him extremely happy. ”Of course I would do so, I will get all of your people back, no problem. You have yourself a deal!” Kayn stood up to shake the Queen's hand and Queen did so as well, Kayn could hear a low hmph coming from a certain someone but he ignored it.

They began to discuss other things for about an hour until someone came rushing into the meeting room. ”There're tons of mercenaries attack our village, we need help!” The woman's face was full of anxiety.

”It looks like its time for me to show my sincerity.” Kayn said in a low voice.
