The next day.
The class look more normal now. Although everyone is still a bit down because one of us is not here now.
We had a calculus class by Mr.Ectoplasm , then an English class led by Present Mic.
He was fired up as always. At least a good entertainment midst of these boring classes.
And afternoon classes are what all of us look forward to , hero foundational period.
When the bell rang for lunch break , I thought why not go get Mel since I maked her wait yesterday.
So I was about to head to the support department when Izuku called me.
”Hey Tony , we're going to the mess hall for lunch. Want to come with us..?”
He was accompanied by Iida and Uraraka.
”Uhh...I would love to , but I needed to go fetch someone too.”
”Ohh .is that so..”
”Yeah..why not you guys go ahead. I'll try to catch up with you there.”
”Of course , then we'll be off.”
After saying bye to them I walked towards the support department.
She had already told me the location of the workshop they had lend her.
Just as I was about to grab the handle and open the door I heard a voice.
”Noo.. Hatsume , not there..”
”Not good..” I thought dodging to the sideways and the door exploded.
”What the hell was that. Was that a repulser blast...?”
”Tony , thank God you're here. ” Melissa said laying on the ground.
On the table there was a device with a repulser in the middle of it which keep sending blasts.
Activating my quirk , I forcefully shut down it and stopped the blasts.
”Phew...thanks , you're a lifesaver.” Melissa said getting up from the ground.
”Now , explain what happened under 20 words.”
”We..tried to incorporate the repulser into a rapid fire gun.” She said scratching her head
”Let me guess and you couldn't stop it once it started.”
”Yeah..”
”You retarded or something , you could have just killed the power.”
”Aah...yeah. We didn't think of it in the middle
of all those blasts.”
”Sigh....That's one thing. And why's the repulser here in the first place”
”Well when we were talking she told me if we could use the repulser then the hoverboard she was building now could get lots more power.”
”And you just agreed...”
”Tony..”
”and besides look what it done now . If I hadn't come in time , maybe the whole lab could have exploded.
Mel we talked about this. If you want to do more research on it do it in the home.”
”But we got more people here. With other people we could even build something more with it”
”And that's exactly what I'm afraid of. The world isn't ready for this. ”
I said trying to make her understand.
”Come on don't say that. Sharing is caring isn't it. You got such nice babies... that could revolutionaise the whole world.”
I turned around hearing another voice behind me.
”Hatsume wasn't it . Yeah you're right. My tech could bring a revolution in the world. But are you ready for the side effects though...
If this got outside even villains or terrorists will be able to get their hands on destructive weapons like this....how are you gonna stop that.”
”He's right hatsume. The world is in much chaos now. Publishing this tech could only be adding more oil to the fire.”
A small man with a excavator claw helmet said coming into the room.
”Hello there Mr. Power loader.”
”Hey there kid. I must say you're good , to build something like that at a young age.
