Chapter 27 - The True Mission (1/2)

Marinrford Fortress - First floor - Intelligence Agency.

Belo Betty that was disguised as a veteran old marine was laying above a sofa comfortably while watching the busy intelligence team in front of her with a complacent smile.

It was about six to seven months that she infiltrated the Marineford island. At first she only used the necklace lord Aizen give her to blend with the civilians, but soon she targeted an intelligence marine, and skillfully turned him to dust using her Magma power.

She easily made it to the first heavy guarded first floor, and using a dagger that was bestowed to her, she was able to implant loyalty and false memories inside the whole team.

Henceforth, the main intelligence squad of the navy headquarters was already under her control, be it secret informations, missions distribution and even dirty files.

”Old man, I see that you are already mingling well!” Suddenly, there was a familiar voice that sounded from behind the sofa, but as she was already like an omniscient being inside this floor, she was already awaiting his arrival.

”Lord Aizen, It's been a while since the last time I see you, you already grow up more graceful and mȧturė.” Belo Betty in her old man appearance stand up politely while bowing with courtliness towards him.

The months that she passed here like a Queen made her very haughty, coupled with her power that kept increasing magically and the magma ability, she almost forget that the person in front of her was the one that gave her such a privilege.

Aizen couldn't help but snort at her attitude. while putting his cold eyes on her.

”You also grow more arrogant and disrespectful!” Said Aizen while his cold eyes made the temperature inside the room decrease swiftly, sending the chills down her spine.

Belo Betty couldn't help but sweatdrop, as her forehead started to perspire in nervousness and fear.

Aizen did say that he wanted 'comrades' to support him when he tried to recruit her, but the moment she took his 'Holy liquid' and gain power, she was already his servant, and a servant should need learn to act as one.

Aizen wasn't really disrespected by her, but the way she was laying there with confidence and her growing arrogance that was plastered in her face was a huge detriment.

She was responsible of framing an admiral. If she was this arrogant, then his whole plan may be screwed up because of her blinding confidence.

”What happened with Akainu?” Asked Aizen again. She was a smart woman, and she could understand that she was going astray.

”As you ordered my lord! The last mission he took was exterminating a pirates crew that took the royalty and nobles as hostages. His 'absolute justice' killing pirates and hostages was recorded, and was used to incite other Kingdoms royalties secretly. The higher ups wouldn't have bothered with this, but as you instructed, I used my magma power to burn the surviving royalties to cinder, while leaving plenty of loose trails behind to the Cipher Pol squads, depicting the madness and the threat he could create and may endanger the nobles status. After his leave, the Revolutionary army already claimed that island as a part of its territory!

”What is it?” He was confused, what happened? did they already deduced that someone wanted to frame him that hurriedly?

”I think lord may not need to continue bother with him, as your next mission would give you enough prestige even higher than an admiral” Answered Beto Belly with a strange expression.

Aizen was suddenly reminded why did he come to see her.

”Ho, and what is this mission?” Asked again, while he could already deduce something. Sengoku weird expression, his next mission, Garp silence. Those strange occurrences could only lead to one result.

”You will be appointed as a bodyguard to one of the princess of the Celestial Dragons Nobles, Delphi Family!” Answered Beto Belly, but the worry was evident on her face.

She naively thought that her lord would not be able to stand beside the ugliness of those celestial dragons, and may end up doing something excessive.

Sadly, Aizen was even more in delight. What a lucky catch!

He wasn't bothered at all, even if he was to guard Saint Shalria, he would do it happily!

For others, they may lose their sense of justice seeing the obscurity and corruption of the world creators, but for him, it was his road to greatness.

He may even found some informations about the next sword stage, Sword Heart.

”It doesn't matter, just keep leaving suspicious evidences behind him, and made it look hard to discover, so that they would be more cautious towards him in the future. If they didn't move against him, I will incite them to do so, and maybe I'll even save his life and recruit him, it all depends on how the future events carry on.” Said Aizen as he leave the room, leaving a relaxed Bello Betty behind.

She was finally able to breath a sigh in relief. To think that she almost angered that lord!
