Chapter 74 - Giving Up A Little Something... (1/2)

”So what do you want ?”, Tony Stark Iron Man asked in angsts.

”Come now. All I want is a little something. Something you will get when you and the Avengers attack Baron Von Strucker and Hydra.”, Ray said in a girlish voice.

”Come on. Out with it just say it.”, Tony Stark said as he took a sip of coffee.

”I just want the mind gem that is stuck to Loki's scepter.”, Ray said with a smile.

”Puu....”, Tony Stark spit out his coffee in shock and anger.

”What ? You want the mind gem ! Are you joking ?! What do you want with it anyway ?!”, Tony Stark Iron Man shouted out in anger.

”Oh... nothing much I just want to collect a gem with a little bit of power in it. And maybe sell it off.”, Ray said in a girlish voice.

”You want to sell the mind gem ?! Can I buy it from you ?”, Tony Stark Iron Man asked with a smirk on his face.

”Uh. No.”, Ray said in a girlish voice.

”What ?! Why ?”, Tony Stark Iron Man asked in shock and anger.

”Oh. I don't think you can afford it. And I think perhaps it is better for Earth that the mind gem is not on Earth.”, Ray said in a serious tone.

Geez Tony, I am trying to save you here. Do you really want to create Ultron and put the Earth in danger ? Why do you think I want the mind gem ? I want to stop you Tony Stark from creating Ultron and putting the Earth in danger. It's just a plus that I get the mind gem. And if the mind gem is not on Earth even better, the entity that eats cosmic beings and infinity stones will go elsewhere to eat the infinity stones.

”How do you know I cannot afford it ?!”, Tony Stark Iron Man shouted out in exasperation.

”Trust me Tony, it's for your own good that you don't get your hands on the mind gem. Do we have a deal ?”, Ray asked in a girlish voice with a smirk. Ray put out his hand to shake with Tony Stark.

”Argh ! Damn you ! We have a deal.”, Tony Stark Iron Man said in anger as he shook Ray's hand.

Soon the Avengers with Ray attacked Baron Von Strucker and Hydra. Same as in the movie, Baron Von Strucker panicked and pushed out the Scarlet Witch Wanda Maximoff and Quicksilver to attack the Avengers. Unfortunately for them just like the movies Baron Von Strucker and the Hydra forces were defeated by the Avengers and Ray.

Unlike in the Avengers movie when Baron Von Strucker was running away with the remnant Hydra forces, suddenly a black armoured man appeared with another black armoured female. These two were Void and Shadow. They were told by Ray to kill off Baron Von Strucker and the remnants of Hydra when they escaped from the Avengers. This they did with ruthless efficiency as they blasted Baron Von Strucker and the remnants of Hydra into nothingness. Soon all that was left was a hole in the ground as Shadow and Void warped away.

As for Scarlet Witch Wanda Maximoff and Quicksilver, they were luckier. Since they had separated from Baron Von Strucker and the remnants of Hydra after their fight with the Avengers, they did not encounter Void and Shadow. Now Scarlet Witch Wanda Maximoff and Quicksilver were hiding in a cheap motel somewhere in Europe while resting.

Just like in the Avengers movie, Tony Stark Iron Man acquires Loki's scepter and the mind gem. Tony Stark was now in Avengers headquarters talking to Dr. Bruce Banner while rest of the Avengers and Ray was resting in the lounge. Hawkeye was not hurt unlike the Avengers movie as Ray was there to protect him.

”Tony are you sure you want to create an artificial intelligence to protect the Earth ?”, Dr. Banner the Hulk asked Tony Stark in his private lab.

”Yes. And we can do this with the mind stone.”, Tony Stark Iron Man said confidently with a smirk.
