Chapter 68 - The Guardians of the Galaxy ! And 1 child ! (1/2)

Ray had deposited his 10 billion units with one of the more famous space banks after he had read the mind of all the aliens in Knowhere to find a trusted banker. Ray and his bodyguards could now live off the interest his money generated indefinitely in Knowhere. But Ray knew that he needed to wait until the Guardians of the Galaxy came with the power stone. Ray knew the Guardians would sell the power Stone to Taneleer Tivan the Collector. Hence before he left the Collector, Ray made the Collector promise him he could see one of the infinity stones if the Collector ever comes across one. Of course the Collector easily promised him, after all the millennial of collecting had made the Collector want to show off his collections to his friends and acquaintances.

Next step, Ray and his three bodyguards, Butch, Oswald and Clara checked into a hotel in Knowhere. They stayed there and waited. Ray had free time to scan the mind and technologies of the alien races in Knowhere. Ray also told his three bodyguards in his room about this.

”Ahem. The reason I called all of you here is because I wanted you to know that if I fall unconscious after I see the power stone, I will be magically transported back to my home in New York. I have already cast a spell on myself.”, Ray said in a girlish voice.

”I can't believe I have been invited into your room.”, Clara said with a big happy smile.

”What about us ? What will happen to us if you disappear from a Knowhere ? You are our only mode of transport.”, Butch asked nervously.

Oswald just put up his hand.

”I did not invite you to my room Clara, this is a meeting. Oswald put down your hands, no questions. And Butch you have a valid point there. Would you like to go back to New York with me when I lose consciousness ?”, Ray asked in a girlish voice.

”Mmm... that would be good if that is possible.”, Butch said nervously.

”Yes ! I get to go back with Ray !”, Clara shouted out happily as she did a fist pump.

”Sigh. Very well. All of you now will go back with me when I lose consciousness.”, Ray said in a girlish voice as he cast a new spell to include his three bodyguards with him when he teleports.

Meanwhile there were some changes to the Guardians of the Galaxy with the death of Thanos. Ronan the Accuser now had become the most feared man in the universe and had used his wealth to buy up Nebula and Korath's services. While leading the hunt against the Guardian of the Galaxy now we have Yon Rogg the servant of Ronan the Accuser and his fleet of ships.

On a planet far away in the base of Ronan the Accuser, Ronan was talking with Yon Rogg who was tasked with retrieving the power stone. Yon Rogg was commanding the space ship the dark aster. Ronan the Accuser had five such large class flag ships. The one given to Yon Rogg was an older less technological version of his other newer five flag ships. Basically Yon Rogg was commanding less than 20% of Ronan the Accuser's armada of space ships.

”So Yon Rogg have you retrieved the power stone ?”, Ronan the accuser said in a gloomy tone as he sat in his throne on this world.

”Not yet Ronan but I will get it soon. The power stone was stolen by someone called Star Lord. And I believe Nebula's sister Gamora is helping them.”, Yon Rogg said respectfully.

”What do you have to say Nebula ?”, Ronan the Accuser asked in a gloomy tone.
