Chapter 20 - Daredevil and Elektra Agents of the Hand (1/2)

As Ray finished the meeting with D5 or Bakuto and D6 or Wilson Fisk, he ȧssigned them the task of setting up Umbrella Corporation immediately. Before D6 or Wilson Fisk left, Ray stopped him.

”D6 please wait awhile, I would like to discuss something with you.”, Ray said in a girlish voice.

”Yes master !”, D6 or Wilson Fisk immediately stopped and sat back down as Bakuto left.

”As you know I have given D5 four strong subordinates and I was thinking of giving you a strong subordinate. So I would like you to recommend a person for me to give powers to.”, Ray said in a girlish voice as he smiled.

”Master ! Thank you. Please give me some time to recommend a suitable candidate.”, D6 or Wilson Fisk said seriously.

”Very well. I await your proposed candidate.”, Ray said in a girlish voice.

After Wilson Fisk had left Ray's office, Ray walked through the streets of New York together with his bodyguards back to his apartment in New York. While walking, a young man passed by Ray and said, ”Hey ! Beautiful girl ! Can I get your phone number ?!”.

Ray's mouth started twitching as he looked at the young man and whispered, ”Pain...”

The young man fell on the ground twitching in pain until he fell unconscious. While the burly bodyguard and the two Ninjas following Ray tried to stifle their laughter. Ray looked at them with a furious look that seems to say just laugh and see what happens to you !

Meanwhile in another part of town, Wilson Fisk had someone waiting for him. His name was Benjamin Poindexter, also known as the ȧssassin Bullseye.

”Wilson... why are you late ?”, Bullseye asked while slurring his speech.

”I had a very important meeting. However after the meeting, I have an opportunity for you. Will you join my organisation and stop being a mercenary ?”, Wilson Fisk asked politely.

”Ha ! Ha ! Ha ! We have been through this before, I love money and all that it brings. Nothing matters to me anymore but money. So no I won't join your crazy cult and kill for free. For any ȧssassination just pay me.”, Bullseye said arrogantly.

Wilson Fisk's mouth twitched as he felt insulted by Bullseye comment on the religion that he and Vanessa had decided to embrace wholeheartedly.

”Never mind then. Here I have a new target for you to ȧssassinate, his name is Clint Barton and he is also known as Hawkeye.”, Wilson Fisk said with a smirk on his face. Wilson Fisk knew that Bullseye would be killed by Clint Barton the master ȧssassin easily.

”Ha ! Ha ! Ha ! Another easy target. You sure are making it easy for me to make money.”, Bullseye said arrogantly.

While that was happening in another part of New York, an ex Hand master ȧssassin by the name of Dark had two students with him, the blind Matt Murdock also known as Daredevil and Elektra Natchios the female ȧssassin. They were huddled up in a small dark room talking.

”As I said before I have no enmity with the Hand or their god. I still worship the god of the Hand Ray for he has saved me and my wife many times. I only hate the man known as Bakuto. I want to kill him, destroy him, utterly crush him for killing my wife.”, Dark said in an angry voice.

”But master, isn't the Hand evil ?”, Matt Murdock asked curiously.

”Ha. Ha. Ha. I ask both of you. Do you see any crime in New York nowadays ?”, Dark asked both his students.

”No.”, Matt Murdock replied.

”None. It's pretty boring in New York.”, Elektra replied.

”That's because the policy of the Hand is to make money and lead a good life. The policy of the Hand changed after the Beast died and the leaders of the Hand died. The new god of the Hand runs the Hand like a corporation, it's new goal is to make money and make sure it's member lead good lives. And a crime ridden New York does not meet that objective, so what the government and police failed to do...”, Dark said with pride.

”The Hand brought peace and prosperity to New York by eliminating all crime.”, Matt Murdock said with surprise.

”Yes, Matt, the Hand brought prosperity and destroyed all crime in New York. Something the government and the police failed to do. If we were to destroy the Hand we are basically destroying prosperity and bringing back crime to New York. Although a few controlled illegal businesses are allowed to thrive they harm no one as it allows those who have fallen to make a living. But there is no illegal trafficking of human beings. There is no gang wars where innocents get killed. There is only business and help for those less fortunate. That's the way of the Hand, to help and bring prosperity.”, Dark said with pride.

”Then why did Bakuto kill your wife master ?”, Elektra asked curiously.

”That's because me and my wife were ambitious, we wanted to become one of the vice leaders of the Hand and gain immortality but Bakuto saw us as a threat and eliminated my wife.”, Dark said in anger.

”Then your revenge ?”, Matt Murdock asked with a serious tone.

”Is to kill Bakuto or destroy him. But we cannot do it alone. There is another vice leader of the Hand in existence right now by the name of Wilson Fisk. I have heard Bakuto hates him immensely. We shall go to him. And hopefully bring my plight to the god of the Hand, Ray.”, Dark said with enthusiasm.

A few days later at the office of Wilson Fisk he is met by Dark who told him the story of how Bakuto murdered his wife and burned her to ashes so she has no hope of resurrection. Wilson Fisk told Dark that he will help him and his two students. Since the death of Stick and the Chaste, history had changed. Instead of an evil Hand, we have a giant corporation Hand. Instead of Stick training Matt Murdock and Elektra, we have Dark training Matt Murdock and Elektra. But Daredevil and Elektra still exist but in a different form with a different teacher.

Wilson Fisk arranged for Dark to meet up with the god of the Hand Ray to bring his grievances against Bakuto. Wilson Fisk told Ray about it and Ray was cursing all day after that as he knew he had to entertain Dark in the same pomp and pageantry as he entertained Daniel Whitehall, on a golden throne acting as if he knew what he was doing. Ray lost quite a few brain cells trying to figure out how to solve the Dark problem. And finally he found the best outcome he could think of.
