Chapter 8 - The Hand in New York (1/2)

Ray laughed out loud as he portal himself to New York. After he had arrived here, Ray teleported all his things from Kamar Taj back to his storage ring. Yes, Ray had created a storage ring while he was in Kamar Taj. Ray got the idea from the fantasy book he had read when he was a forty year old man and used space magic to create this ring. He called it the ring of Ray.

Ray knew he had been away for some time, it was time to take back his New York Street gang from D1 or Dumb 1 and D2 or Dumb 2, his lieutenants. Ray looked around New York and smelled the air. He felt that in the last one year, New York did not change much. Ray created another portal to his house in New York and stepped into the portal.

When Ray exited the portal, he saw many new street children and older members of his gang of thieves. One of the older boys did not recognise Ray and stepped out to stop him.

”Hey girl...”, the tall lanky teenager said as he looked at Ray.

”I am not a girl...”, Ray said in his girlish voice as he looked right back at the towering teenager.

”Then why do you look and sound like a girl ?”, the tall lanky teenager said with a smirk.

With Ray's shoulder length golden hair, his beautiful blue eyes, his youthful feminine face and the feminine clothes from Kamar Taj he was wearing he looked like a girl alright.

”Pain...”, Ray whispered.

The tall lanky teen screamed in pain, fell down and slumped on the floor unconscious. All the children and teenagers panicked and started rushing into the house. As that happened D1 or Dumb 1 and D2 or Dumb 2, Ray's two lieutenants walked out of the house.

When D1 or Dumb 1 saw a beautiful blonde haired, blue eyed young girl in front of him, he fell in love immediately. The blessings of the gods and goddesses did their work. However D2 or Dumb 2 saw the resemblance of the young girl to Ray and wondered if they had any relations and dare not fall in love with her, even though D2 or Dumb 2 ŀusted after her.

”Who are you ?”, D1 or Dumb 1 asked sweetly.

”Yes, Who are you ?”, D2 or Dumb 2 asked cautiously.

”It's me Ray !”, Ray spoke out loud in his girlish voice as his right eye started twitching in anger.

”Ray ?!”, D1 or Dumb 1 said in shock as he realised he fell in love with Ray at first sight.

”Ray ! Welcome back.”, D2 or Dumb 2 shouted out as he felt relief and lucky that he did not fall in love with Ray at first sight.

Ray soon settled back into his position as leader of his little gang of thieves. And he found out from D1 or Dumb 1 and D2 or Dumb 2 that their gang is to be absorbed into a new organisation known as the red hand on account of them leaving a bloody hand print on their victims who they kill. Upon learning that Ray just mumbled,”so the Hand has entered New York.”.

”Yes, we don't know much about this new organisation that just appeared in New York suddenly. Since you have been gone, this new organisation has been absorbing all the gangs in New York. We are one of the few last gang that has held out so far.”, D1 or Dumb 1 said out proudly.

”This new organisation has killed any gangs in New York that refused to join them and left a bloody red hand as their sign. We don't even know the name of this organisation.”, D2 or Dumb 2 added.

”The Hand.”, Ray mumbled in his girlish voice.

”D1 and D2 call out the leader of this new organisation tonight. Tell them your leader has returned and wants to meet them.”, Ray said in his girlish voice with a sly smile.

Soon a meeting was arranged for the leaders of the Hand and Ray to meet. You might be wondering why the leaders of the Hand would want to meet a small time group of thieves. Well Ray's group of thieves is one of New York's most profitable gang operations. And the Hand has just come to New York and have not established themselves yet. The Hand needs as many gangs in New York as possible to be under them, so they have to shock and awe these gangs and not kill them. It's only when the Hand has fully established themselves in New York can they be arrogant.

A few days later.

Waiting in the dock yard in New York was two leaders of the Hand, one of them looked like a younger version of actress Sigourney Weaver, she was the proud leader of the Hand named Alexandra. Another leader of the Hand was an old woman who looked exactly like the actress Wai Ching Ho, she was the much feared Madam Gao. The two of them were talking while waiting for Ray and his lieutenants to show up.
