Chapter 13 (1/2)

Amery: Hey all. Work have been pretty busy lately and all sort of plans and schedule went right out the window for me, teaser bundles and all. Seeing that no one have picked the series up after it have been put up for adoption, I translated a few extra chapters of 108 awhile back.

Today I randomly received two requests to pick the series up, which is awesome, but since I have a few chapters done already, I’ll release them first then hand the series off to whoever ending up translating it. Enjoy!

Around them, foliages were flourishing and the mountain spring was gurgling gently through the mountain. The flora were as vibrant as embroidery, while in the distance a waterfall torrents downward, splashing up a layer of fine mist. These mountains and lakes gave off an incomparably quiet and peaceful feeling.

Even though Shu Jing had grown familiar with Liangshan Continent’s poetic scenery in the past month, this current scene still caused him to pause and observe for awhile.

“Young Master, are you going stupid just from the view?” Song Lu joked.

Shu Jing shrugged.

As they walked along the small path, it wasn’t long until they encountered the sight of a large mountain, underneath of which stood four people deep in discussion.

The closer they got to the group of people, the clearer Shu Jing could hear the conversations.

“Motherfucker, what a waste of a trip. What kind of doggone Soul Technique can there be at that trash ruin?”

“I already warned you earlier not to buy into these things. This is something that is only seen once every few hundred years, why would it be your turn to discover it?”

“Fuck!”

Seeing Shu Jing’s group, the four people shared a look with each other and stopped talking. Shu Jing evaluated all of them at once. Three men and one woman, their minimum cultivation at Stardust Middle Stage. Among them, the Daoist monk holding the horsetail whisk had the highest cultivation, he must have already entered the peak of Stardust Late Stage.[1]

The Daoist monk eyes’ brightened when he caught sight of Lin Ying Mei, and the feeling his looks gave was not a pleasant one.

“Are you guys also here to explore?” Song Lu asked in a friendly manner.

Seeing that there was not a trace of cultivation in Song Lu’s body, the monk only gave her a quick glance before his eyes focuses on Lin Ying Mei and Shu Jing.

“Friends, did you come here after hearing about the Mountain Lake legacy?”, the Daoist monk smiled and asked.

Friends?

Being called such a title caught Shu Jing off guard. He laughed in reply, “We were just passing by, and conveniently decided to visit it.”

“To Stardust cultivators like us, these kinds of lesser legacies really are quite important. Unfortunately, I think you will also be disappointed.” The monk seemed regretful.

“Hearing that this Mountain Lake legacy has had a 500 years long history, I am also not very hopeful.” Shu Jing vaguely replied.

“Friend, that is a good attitude to have.” The monk stroked his beard and said.

Shu Jing also did not feel like wasting his saliva. Those three people was looking at Lin Ying Mei with unsavory eyes, their hearts full of hatred for Shu Jing as well as greed.

Lin Ying Mei’s expression remained ice cold. Until the end, she still did not spare them a glance.

“I’ll go ahead to take a look.”

Shu Jing lightly trade a look with Lin Ying Mei before walking forward.

The three other cultivators glanced at each other before parting ways, allowing him to walk through.

Shu Jing smiled at them, then brought Song Lu and Lin Ying Mei to head inside the mountain, seeming the entrance for the legacy.

Waiting until they have walked away for a distance, the three male cultivators each took out a weapon, all intending to head back inside the legacy.

“Everybody, do not act rashly.” The daoist monk casually spoke, causing the other three cultivators to pause.

“Xun Tian Daoist, what do you mean by that?” The female cultivator turned around, her expression dissatisfied.

“Isn’t this the best time to kill them?” The man with a shiny bald gripped his hammer and spoke while laughing maliciously.

“Just a Stardust Early Stage cultivator. I alone am enough to take care of them.” The last male non-chalantly added.
