The darkness of night was gentle, the moon was bright, and the stars were scarce. There was a faint floral fragrance in the air.

The man fumbled in his trousers pocket and took out a velvet box. He said in a gentle voice, “It’s from a brand sponsor. See if you like it or not.”

Xiang Yi opened the box to see that it was an extremely exquisite bracelet. It was decorated with some diamonds, each of which was of quite a large carat. As it moved, it emitted dazzling rays of light.

She asked with some uncertainty, “Brand sponsor… Will they sponsor you with such an expensive gemstone?”

He looked down and put on the bracelet for her meticulously. It was thin and it tickled her fair wrist when it brushed against her skin inadvertently
