“Underage… You can’t like someone when you’re underage?” The girl asked in a daze.

“That’s right.” Shi Sui said casually, picking up a piece of dried squid only to have it snatched out of his hand by Xiang Yi.

Arrogantly, the girl said, “Then you can’t eat.”

Shi Sui smiled from her antics. “Stingy.”

“I am stingy.” Xiang Yi pursed her lips and thought about it. “When I grow up, can I like you then?”

Shi Sui pulled out his cigarette box, hesitated for a moment, and placed it back in his pockets. “Whatever you want.”

The girl looked at the shredded squid, then at him, then split the already thin dried squid into two thinner pieces. She stuffed one into his hands and said in a friendly manner, “Then you can have a little bit.”

After she spoke those words, the girl tilted her head onto the sofa as she felt her eyelids become heavy, falling asleep in the blink of an eye.

Shi Sui: “…”

He looked down at the piece of dried squid in the palm of his hand and bit it with the tip of his teeth. A faint sweetness spread through his palette as he lowered his eyebrows and smiled lightly.

The health pot had finished brewing.

Xiang Yi served Shi Sui a bowl of rice wine and eggs first before pouring one for herself.

When Shi Sui regained his senses, his gaze fell on Xiang Yi. The girl was cooling the pot by stirring it with a spoon. The red goji berries, yellow egg flowers, and white glutinous rice rippled in the mixture. She tasted a spoonful and huffed at the heat.

Perceiving his gaze, Xiang Yi turned her head to look at him.

Instantly, she was met by a senior’s seemingly promiscuous gaze…

The girl licked the corners of her lips and instantly became sheepish. “It’s very sweet. Senior, don’t you want to try it?”
