Chapter 335 - This Man Was Rather Too Wily And Mischievous. (1/2)

Wei Zilin had taken the plate off her hand and was placing it on the table.

Wei Zilin seemed to be addicted to Weibo recently. Every time before a meal, he would take a picture and post it on his Weibo.

Yu Linling: “Today’s dishes are different from usual.”

“Must be the goddess’ craftwork!”

“One look is enough to know that it’s the craft of the goddess.”

“Is my goddess and idol currently living together?”

“The plate’s not from the goddess’ house. So, it must be from the idol’s house.”

“Ever since the idol started dating, he’s been posting on Weibo every day. How torturing.”

“I hope idol would post on his Weibo every day, but I don’t really want to be tormented every single day. What to do!”

After they finished their meal, Wei Zilin did not let Xu Moyan clean up. He placed the dirty dishes in the sink and wait for Aunt Deng to clean when she came over the next day.

Then, he brought Xu Moyan to the study room.

When she came over last time, there were not any recording equipment in the study room. Wei Zilin must have put it away because he thought he no longer had a use for it.

The desk was now full of equipment. Wei Zilin took out a printed script and handed it over to Xu Moyan so that she could try to read through once.

Afterward, Wei Zilin pointed out a few areas that were lacking and taught her how to pronounce certain words better.

“During the dubbing of ‘Massacre’, everyone else was a professional except for me. So, I learned a lot from all of them.” Wei Zilin explained.

“Am I stupid. I think I’m not dubbing material.” Xu Moyan was a little frustrated. She was unable to just do a mere few words correctly.

“That’s not it.” Wei Zilin’s gaze grew soft as he caressed her hair. “It’s only your first time dubbing. Even professional voice actors needed years to learn, and once they have, they’ll still continue to study more from their seniors. When I was learning, I’ve repeatedly gotten NG scenes over and over again. In fact, I’m just a dabbler right now, and I would only be able to teach you the basics. There would be a huge difference if a professional were to teach you. So, don’t be too discouraged, it’s completely normal.”

“Okay.” Xu Moyan cheered up and continued to make adjustments.

Wei Zilin did not urge her to learn quickly as well. He taught her one word at a time and at a slow pace. Every line was repeated countless times, and they were adjusted to its best state.

He glanced at the time quietly and noticed the time had unconsciously flown by. Furthermore, Xu Moyan only managed to go through a few lines successfully.

This made Wei Zilin feel very satisfied. It seemed like this way, there was a chance that she would stay the night, right?

Xu Moyan was so immersed in dubbing that she had forgotten to look at the time.

By the time she realized it and glimpsed at the time in the lower right corner of the computer, it was already 11:37 at night. However, Wei Zilin was sitting beside her. He had his hand clutched onto the back of her chair whilst looking at her in deep focus. He was not even paying attention to the time.

Since he did not mention it, Xu Moyan was too embarrassed to bring it up as well.

But then again, it was indeed very late at night. The time was about to strike 12 as each minute passed by. Xu Moyan had no other way but to brazenly opened up her mouth and said, “It’s late now. Why don’t we stop here for today?”

Still, she felt guilty saying it out, seeing that she barely dubbed more than a few lines.

Wei Zilin could not care less about that, and when he looked at the time, he nodded and replied, “It is quite late.”

Having said that, after turning off the equipment, he turned his head and looked out the window.

Apparently, it had started raining, and the rough and rapid storm was hitting against the window continuously. The crackling and rattling sound was so loud that it was reasonable to say the two of them should have heard it earlier.

Xu Moyan had been wearing earphones the whole time and was unable to notice the sound from her surroundings. Wei Zilin could hear it, but what about it?

He chose to pretend not to hear it.

At that moment, it was as if he just noticed that it was raining. It was a massive storm as well, he paused for a while before saying, “I didn’t expect that it’ll rain.”

Xu Moyan was ill at ease; it was entirely unsuitable to go out in such a weather.

Sheng Town was quite a distance from here. For Wei Zilin to send her back and return here would take a lot of time. Furthermore, to be driving in such torrential rain was very dangerous. Especially at night, it would be too dark even to see the road.

Just as she was thinking about it, a flash of light flickered outside the window abruptly, accompanied by an ear-splitting thunder rolls. Making Xu Moyan jumped in surprise.

They really should not head out in such weather.

Wei Zilin retracted his gaze toward the window and said unconsciously, “I’ll take you back.”
