Chapter 147: Sub Arm (1/2)
TN I am sorry folks. I haven’t been able to translate much these past weeks because my workload has increased. Now, I am really tired. If anyone wishes to take over some of the works I’ve been translating, please feel free. Just tell me you will do it. If not, I will continue to translate them, but whenever I have the time.

“Lute sama, yes, please say ‘ah’♪.”
“Ahhhhh.”
I ate a piece of cake stuck in a fork presented by Meiya in a maid outfit. When I ate the cake, she happily said.
“Ahhhhhhh ~~~ ♪. I can serve Lute sama …! Is there such happiness? No, it isn’t!”
At first, I got angry at Meiya, who wore a white coat in an orthodox maid outfit. Therefore, because of my guilt, I left myself at her mercy.
Every time she made me eat cake, drink tea, or flirt, she had an ecstatic expression. To be honest, it’s a little scary.
I let her serve me until she was satisfied, and then again, I began explaining about the gun we were going to make beside the Combat shotgun “SAIGA12K”.
When I dueled Lucca last time, I ran out of AK47 magazines and GB15 40mm add-on grenades. All that I had left was the revolver, which is a sub-arm.
Snows and I used it to get the enemy’s attention while my friends rushed in, but I didn’t mind the 6 bullets.
Based on that experience, I would like to develop a new sub-arm, the “Automatic Pistol”. In the first place, the sub-arm is a handgun, and what exactly is that?
The handgun is a gun that is highly portable and can be used with one or both hands. It can be roughly divided into two types according to its operating method.
The revolver I’m currently using. And the automatic pistol that automatically loads the next bullet after firing the first.
So, how was the auto pistol developed?
The development of the automatic pistol was initiated by the Maxim machinegun invented by Hiram Maxim in 1884.
Maxim used the recoil generated during firing to create the Maxim gun with a “toggle action” that fires bullets one after another by bending and stretching the toggle link (looper-like movement). It was Hugo Borchard, a German, who adopted this principle in his pistol in 1894 and made the first automatic pistol called “Borchard C93”.
After that, Georg Luger, also a German, improved the shortcomings of the gun developed by Borchardt (it was too large to be used as a pistol) and made it practical and smart, the “Luger P08” in 1908.
Let’s get back to the story.
Since the development of the pistol-sized automatic pistol, many famous guns have been born.
This time, I’m thinking of making one of the “H & K USP (9mm model)”. USP is an abbreviation for “Universal Self-loading Pistol”.
The USP is a gun made by adopting the most basic thing in the internal mechanism while using the reinforced plastic of the state-of-the-art technology at that time for the gun body.
Thanks to that, it was exceptionally reliable and accepted by the military and special police.
There are multiple USP calibers, but this time we will make a 9×19-9mm Parabellum bullet model. It is a “USP tactical pistol” with a sound suppressor.
The USP tactical pistol (9 mm model) has a longer barrel tip than usual because a sound suppressor can be attached. This is to reduce the screw on the barrel’s outer circumference of the tip muzzle part. On this threaded part, the screw of the sound suppressor can be installed. If the sound suppressor is removed, there is a protector to cover the threaded part.
If I can create the USP tactical pistol (9mm model), A sound suppressor can be installed and used indoors. It is very encouraging in case of emergency.
If we can make this one, it will be a reliable sub-arm.
