Li Cangfu’s smile stiffened up.
The two of them just played cards some time ago. ‘What did he mean by that?’
Without waiting for Li Cangfu’s reaction, Shen Haihua continued, “Li Cangfu, oh Li Cangfu. You have no idea what mess you’ve gotten yourself into! You shouldn’t have offended Mr. Ye! I suppose it’s good that you’re here now. I have some things to discuss with you. From this day onward, all collaborations North Name Corporation has with your Origins of Science Group are canceled!”
‘What?’
Li Cangfu was stupefied.
‘Cancel all collaborations? Has Shen Haihua gone mad? He’s talking about hundreds of millions of profits here! Is it canceled just like that? Because I’ve offended Mr. Ye?’
He did not remember what he had done to offend Mr. Ye.
Li Cangfu was about to say something when Shen Haihua walked toward Ye Chen and whispered, “Mr. Ye, please allow me to handle this.”
At that moment, it was everyone’s turn to be surprised.
‘Did Shen Haihua just speak softly toward a young man?’
‘Mr. Ye?’
‘How old was this guy? Why did Shen Haihua refer to him as Mr. Ye?’
Li Cangfu squinted his eyes and felt something amiss.
The car parked in front should be Shen Haihua’s. It was impossible for Shen Haihua to invite someone to this place to eat. The only possibility was that it was the other party’s recommendation.
‘Why did Shen Haihua agree to this unreasonable request from the other party? Moreover, why did he bring his darling daughter to dine here?’

To give up all those benefits would mean that the man behind him was not someone he should mess with!
‘Could it be that Mr. Ye came from Jiangnan Province originally? No, it can’t be. There was no Ye family in Jiangnan Province. The only possibility was that his family came from Capital City!’
As he cycled through those thoughts, Li Cangfu’s expressions changed immediately! The families in Capital City were people on top of the pyramid! A wave of a hand could exterminate any family from River City! It was hard not to imagine what would happen!
Beads of sweat started appearing on Li Cangfu’s forehead and his back was completely wet. He knew that if he took one wrong step, the entire Li family would fall into a land of no return!
He no longer could keep it in and went straight to Ye Chen and bowed as he said, “Mr. Ye… I am truly sorry… This is all my fault. Please forgive me.”
When Li Xin and Sun Yaoyao heard what he said, they were completely stunned.
Her father apologizing to a young man?
All he needed to do was to kneel and it would be the whole package!
Li Xin could not afford to lose face. She said, “Daddy, why are you being this way? This brat…”
Before she could finish her sentence, Li Cangfu gave her a slap so hard that it spun Li Xin toward the ground!
“You almost got me killed with your big mouth! Do you know who you have offended?”
Li Xin was stupefied! She never expected her father to hit her because of a stranger!
She had never ever experienced it in her entire life!
Li Cangfu’s face was full of flattery again. He said to Ye Chen, “Mr. Ye, I did not teach my daughter well. I’ll be more disciplined with her in the future. Please forgive us this time…”
Ye Chen was unaffected by all this and neither did he want to make trouble during Uncle Wang’s opening day. He looked at Xiao Xu the bruised and beaten up chauffeur as he said, “He’s beaten up because he tried to defend my friends. You know what to do.”
“Yes, of course.” Li Cangfu nodded his head fervently.
Ye Chen looked over to Aunt Zhang who was still clutching her stomach as well as some broken things on the table. He continued, “Your daughter hurt my friend as well as broke some of the things in the shop. Today was their opening, so you know what to do…”
“Yes, of course.” Li Cangfu replied immediately.
Ye Chen’s eyes were almost calm when suddenly it became ice-cold again as he boomed with murder in his voice. He scolded, “If you said yes, of course, I expect you to do it now! After you’re done, get out of my sight!”
Li Cangfu was shocked still from the ice-cold murderous voice and fell on his butt.
“Yes, yes, of course, Mr. Ye…”
When he was done, Ye Chen indifferently went back into the private room.
After a few steps, Ye Chen stopped in his steps as he thought of something.
“One more thing. Your daughter and her friend almost gave me a slap just now. You know what to do next…”
