Chapter 322 - Berserk Freya (2/2)

She aged rapidly.

”Stop it! You're killing yourself!”

Elliot shouted so loudly that she snapped out of her crazed state and finally stopped wasting his precious resources. By now, half of her head had turned frosty white.

”Sorry, I lost control,” Freya said in a voice so weak that, hearing it, any man would feel pity for her, Elliot included.

He didn't blame her any further for many reasons.

First off, he knew that those with demonic energy in their system would sometimes lose control of themselves and only regain somberness and sanity after laying waste to many things and life. That was why the serpentine devils were one of the worst creatures to exist in these times. Freya also had demonic energy in her system, so with a slight push, her going berserk was going to happen, and he believed that the sight of the crawling spiders must have given her that push as girls hated insects.

Secondly, the one thing he didn't want to do was to get into an argument against his only teammate in this place.

Anyhow, she had calmed down, so everything was now good.

”Let me take care of the rest,” Elliot said to her as he moved her behind him.

”Then, what should I do?” Freya asked while panting.

”Look at yourself in the mirror; you've already exhausted yourself to the bone.” Elliot felt disturbed seeing frosty white hair on her head, and he handed her a vitality-increasing pill and said, ”Just sit down and relax, recover your ability by drinking this.”

”Thank you for this precious gift, my lord.”

Since he was giving it to her and she needed it too, who was she to decline his kindness? She accepted the pill bottle with a smile.

The pill bottle had fifty pills, and each increased a person's lifespan by five years.

As she started consuming them, her hair regained its previous glory, and she fastly moved towards full recovery.

Elliot, on the other hand, kept an eye on the entire situation. Most of the remaining enemies were heavily injured by Freya's outburst, so he killed them quickly and effortlessly.

He was not only focused on killing them, though, as he was also looking out for any hidden danger.

The one thing that hadn't changed about him, even though he had become so strong, was his level of cautiousness.
