Chapter 309 - A Wall With Legs? (1/2)
A moment after the two beasts fell on the ground, a precise amount of mana surged out of Elliot's hands, crystallized into the formed of a single bright blue lance that carried incomparable might and sharpness, and that lance pierced through the head of the fire-tailed fox and stabbed into the chest of the evil ogre.
As blood gushed out of its chest, the ogre, who knew that the lance had shattered its icy cold heart and it didn't have more than a few moments to live, looked at Elliot with resentment and great anger and mouthed off some words.
Before it could even finish what it wanted to say, it died.
Every sign of life left the ogre in the middle of its devilish speech!
Elliot narrowed his eyes thoughtfully.
He didn't understand what it had said before succumbing to its wounds.
However, he had memorized whatever it had said.
As long as he keeps on doing that and memorizes the words spoken by every monster capable of speech that he comes across, he will undoubtedly learn their language!
Elliot was planning to learn the language of this place, and for that, he needed to memorize all the characters he might come across and all the words he hears in the Ash Grey World.
Moreover, once he learns the language spoken by the inhabitants of this planet, he will understand the last words of the ogre.
Elliot proceeded with his adventure.
He took off the ring of chaos from the four monsters he had just killed and tossed them in his subspace.
Then, he started skinning the three fire-tailed foxes.
Their fur was an excellent material. Clothes made out of them could keep a person warm in the coldest of places. With clothes made of their fur on him, he and anyone could venture into forbidden zones so cold that humans and magicians alike freeze to their death just after taking a step inside. This item would help him set foot inside places mostly unexplored.
It was also an extraordinary artifact as fire would surge out of it the moment a person pours energy into it.
It took him three minutes to skin them all, and he stored all the furs he got into his spatial ring.
He looked at the ogre enthusiastically, and soon he turned disappointed. His godly right eye of wisdom told him that the ogre was a piece of garbage. It was stronger than the foxes, but it was far less valuable. It had just died, but it was already rotting. That was the price it had to pay for becoming a subordinate of the Spider Goddess.
When he realized that its boss was a demonic god, Elliot's eyes turned sharp.
”From the looks of it, the unholy elves build this underground necropolis to gather subordinates and offer sacrifices to the demonic goddess, the spider queen. But there is a chance I might be wrong. But if I am right, then destroying this place is the first thing I am going to do, heh, heh, heh.”
Elliot laughed like a devil, his eerie laughers roaring throughout area 11.
The very thought of fucking the grand plans of a demonic goddess excited and made happy every fiber of his being.
He turned around and dashed towards the area which had the wall with carving on it.
When he reached that area, the wall was no longer there!
Elliot's brows furrowed, indicating that he was feeling highly displeased.
'Why is it no longer here?'
'Where the heck did it go?'
'How did it disappear?'
