Chapter 249: God of Gambling is back (a) (1/2)

”Thank you,” Lucy said with a smile. To his surprise, she stood on the tips of her toes, leaned forward, and placed her soft, glowing lips on his cheek. He wasn't expecting it at all, so he responded a beat later. A smile appeared on his face, and he moved the other side of his face towards her.

”Don't leave the twin hanging,” Elliot said to Lucy, who understood that he wanted her to kiss him on the right cheek too.

”Sorry, but I won't be letting you take advantage of me again,” Immediately after saying that while giggling, she turned around and started to run away. She was in a hurry as she knew that Elliot would hold her in place and show her how a kiss was given; thus, she made her move first and hurried to slip away from his naughty grade and tried to enter the imaginary world.

Although she was pretty fast, almost like the wind, Elliot still managed to catch up to her as he moved like a bolt of lightning flashing across the sky. He hugged her from behind and pulled her into his embrace. His big and warm hands were resting on her waist, making her feel as if Elliot was placing his claim on her entire body.

”Little vixen, you're the one who took advantage of me.” Elliot's words seemed to set off a strange fire inside Lucy, causing her skin to turn red bit by bit. No one had ever called her a vixen. But she was in the wrong for kissing him out of nowhere, and she realized that.

”How should I make up?”

As she said that, Elliot's warm breath tickled her skin and acted no different than a breeze meant to spread the fire. As the fire increased, the redness on her skin turned even more enticing.

”Do you really want to know?” Elliot said as he used his free hand to lift her chin so she could look him straight in the eyes. His other arm was wrapped around her waist. Her back was pressing into his chest, making her feel warm but stuffy. She was too close to him, and it was no good.

”I do as I know you wouldn't set me free otherwise,” said Lucy, charmed by the seducing look in his eyes.

”Haha,” he laughed, happy to see that she knew him better than he knew himself. He really had no intention of letting her go this time for free, but even he just realized it after hearing her words.

”Kiss my other cheek,” he ordered, a playful glint flashing in his eyes. Lucy missed that, and she obediently gave him what he wanted her to give him. Elliot felt dissatisfied as the contact lasted only for a moment. It was a mere peck. The warmth left the side of his face before he could even indulge in it.

”Now, let me go,”

Although Lucy said that, she didn't even push against his chest or try to pry out of his grip.

”Not feeling like it.”
