Chapter 208: Descend of the God (b) (1/2)
Not only had the beasts living in the central zone betrayed them, but their homes were also in danger of getting destroyed. One could feel the anger emerging of the spirit beasts belonging to the nightmare zone. They were brimming with murderous desires, and they only had blood in their eyes.
Dust swirled up to the air, coloring the landscape in brown as the sound of the army charging ahead shunned all other noises and gave rise to fear and excitement in the hearts of many.
The onlookers could see that Oliver Charlotte, Old Wolf, and the beasts behind them were going to do everything in their power to fend off the betrayers, destroy the last barrier crystal, set the forest free, and shatter the formation.
Whether they were to lose their lives in the process or not, it mattered not. They all had the same thought, and that was to win the war, no matter how many sacrifices.
”You're the ones courting death!” Said the Devil Bull while gnashing her filthy jaws. She was angry to see their defiant actions, and she wanted to crush them like ants to show how wrong Old Wolf was to not surrender to her.
Tyler Barnes brought his hands towards the incoming army of beasts and commanded, ”Charge ahead! Don't let them come to this site and disturb the formation even if you have to breathe your last on the battlefield today!
”Freedom is only a step away.”
The very next moment, the beasts around him roared at the top of their lungs, causing a heavy pressure to fall on the battlefield.
”We will give up our lives for the cause.”
”Freedom is only a step away.”
While chanting those words in their language, the spirit beasts also marched ahead valiantly.
The two armies were four kilometers away from each other when roaring laughter came from high above. They were loud and spread throughout the center of the forests like explosives shockwaves, rendering the world speechless.
Just how powerful must the person be to cause such a devastating effect from just laughing?
Everyone raised their heads towards the sky, tens of thousands of eyes turned upwards, only to see a man with refined features standing on top of a double-headed snake with his arms crossed.
The view on the barrier of the ancient settlement also changed. Everyone, from Lady Charlotte and Jack Turner to instructor Leonardo and Richard Regis, saw the main focus of the event—Elliot Vincent. He was standing upright as clouds floated about him, harmony and mystery tinging the air around him. Although he was looking at thousands of enemies, there was not a single trace of nervousness in his eyes that he curved into a smile.
He was looking at the dangerous sight below as if he was looking at his next meal?
A sense of absurdity filled everyone's mind. If the current shook wasn't enough, what Elliot did next almost caused the hearts of the Magic Kings and instructor Leonardo to leap out of their chest.
He jumped from Grace's head and plunged towards the Devil Bull, Tyler Barnes, and tens of thousands of beasts!
