Chapter 201: Giving Lucy a Choice—be mine or be mine? (1/2)

Lucy subconsciously bobbed her head, charmed and hypnotized by his seduction, and then she blushed hard as she realized the inappropriate meaning behind his words. Then, she raised her head and glared at him. Elliot met her eyes with a smile. He could infer what was going around in her head by staring into the windows to her innocent soul.

”Like hell! I would never call you. I would never go into a hotel with you. I am not a loose girl! If you want to make love, then you've targeted the wrong girl, you ruffian!” Lucy huffed and pursed her lips. She was conflicted with the feeling she had for Elliot. He was good-looking, strong, and also the one who stole her lips for the first time. But he was also a cold-blooded killer who smiled while killing and enslave others after saving them. He was good and bad, like a mixture between robbin hood and a mountain bandit. And she wasn't sure whether he was serious about her or not. She was an easy-going woman, but she still had pride in her bones, and she didn't want to be Elliot's one-time fling—that's something prostitutes do, not that she had anything against them.

Elliot smiled and suddenly closed the distance between them, his face hovering close to her face. ”Had anyone ever told you that with your cheeks puffed up, you look just like a hamster eating a chestnut?”

”What? What?!” Lucy was already startled by his actions, but his words just embarrassed her even more.

”You look extremely cute,” Elliot said in a husky voice which shot into her ears and stabbed into her heart, filling it with lust and love as if it was a cupid arrow. The poor girl was already beyond saving, but Elliot still went on and licked one of her earlobes. The place where his tongue touched turned hot and red, and Lucy felt electric currents permeating into her body from those spots. She felt that if this were to continue, she wouldn't be able to resist him.

”Tasty.” He said after licking it like a big bad cat.

”Stop trying to seduce me!” She pushed him away and looked at him sternly, tears vivid in her eyes.

Elliot coughed and then said, ”I am serious about you.”

”We just met days ago! How could you develop such feelings for me? I don't believe you.”

Yes, she was right.

What he had for her—one couldn't possibly call it love.

It was more like a desire to hold her innocence in his grasps, embrace her and keep her by his side. His thoughts were just like a dragon looting and picking up everything it considers as its treasure and storing them in its cave.

And yes, he wasn't extremely attracted to her appearance. She was above-average but not on the kingdom toppling level. She was beautiful in her way but not gorgeous enough to make Elliot fall head over heels for her. Still, he desired her, every inch of her, as he was more in love with her nature, not her appearance. She had selflessly sacrificed her lifespan for others and treated them with the same selflessness. A woman like her was hard to come across, and he didn't want to give her up to another man.

Elliot wondered whether she would do the same for him?

”Believe me; I want to make you mine, so I will do everything in my power to make you mine,” Elliot replied with seriousness plastered all over his face.

Lucy felt angered by his words. After all, she wasn't a thing and also not his possession!

”And I won't let you have your way with me.”

Although that was her current stance, and he admits that he took advantage of her and was going overboard, he still believed that she would not be able to get him out of her mind if he pesters her endlessly.
