The pill in his hand was something far more precious as it could eliminate all negative thoughts, help increase his strength by ten units, and his magic energy capacity by a hundred units! By taking this pill, an extremely depressed person would become active! An enraged person with murder in his mind would become as gentle as a sleeping cat! All sorts of suicidal and murderous ideas would leave one's heart and mind.
”Why would you give something so precious to me, uh?” Elliot was a bit confused. The pill was pretty high ranked as it could even cure mental illnesses. It was enough to be used as a dowry. 'Ah, had this girl fell in love with me?! I did hear that young ladies from rich families like bad guys like me, never thought it's true.'
”What precious? It's just a refreshment pill.” Lucy acted ignorantly, unaware that Elliot already knew the true value of the pill. She gave him this pill for many reasons. He had helped her and her temporary teammates, saved her life, not once but twice, and she had also seen him naked. One could say that because of all these reasons, she had developed feelings for him, but she was confused about what they were as she had never been in love.
She just felt stuffy in her chest whenever she looked at him, especially after she thought that he might develop a mental illness because of killing so many people at such a young age. That's why she gave him this pill, which the association developed and improved to cure PTSD.
Elliot turned silent after hearing her words, and his gaze rested on her pretty face. Honestly, she looked like a hot nurse trying to coax a dirty-minded child to eat a sour medicine disguised as candy with pretty words as she pestered Elliot to take the pill. He felt charmed by her attentiveness and gentleness and silently heard her words, having no attention to eating the pill.
Lucy rolled her eyes, thinking that she was playing the flute before a cow. She truly was doing just that. Elliot heard what she said from one ear and let it go out from the other.
”Oh, geez! I am going you the pill myself if you're only going to keep holding on to it!” Lucy said, squatting before him and then picking up the aqua-blue pill with cloud patterns on it from his palm.
”Then, feed me.”
Elliot said, an inviting smile on his face, one that did nothing else except for making Lucy more determined about putting the pill inside of his mouth.
”Ah, geez,” Lucy grumbled, feeling annoyed with his childish attitude. Still, she went ahead and told him to open his mouth, signifying that she would do just what he wanted her to do.
