Chapter 187: I alone Dont Level Up! (2/2)
”HAHAHAHAHAHA!” Before Benjamin could out in the classic villain line ”You will die,” Elliot started laughing at the top of his lungs. His laughter was out of place. It should be them laughing right now, not him! What the heck was wrong with this world?! Simply bewildering!
”Alone? Who told you that I am by myself? Are you crazy?”
”Huh?!” Benjamin's eyebrows raised.
”Can't you feel it? The trembling of the land! The cries of the wind! Can't you see it?” Elliot said in a voice filled with happiness, madness, and joy surging in his bright eyes, ”The approaching army of beasts?”
Those words had just left his mouth when a mighty roar reverberated throughout the forest. The trembling of the land intensified. One could even hear the sound of stomping. The eyes of the thousand serpentine devils, as well as Lucy and the others, widened to complete circles as a snake with two wings roared and descended next to Elliot.
”ROAR!”
”AWOOOOO!”
”OINK!”
”KI KI!”
At the same time, the trees behind them crumbled to the ground, and out came hundreds of thousands of beasts. At their helm stood a 5-meter tall and 3-meter wide monster with a pig head, an 8-meter long Dire wolf with grey furs and red eyes, a Tiger with Silver wings, and a Hobgoblin with two horns on its head.
They came to a halt several steps behind Elliot, acting as if they were waiting for his command.
The mouths of the onlooker dropped to touch the ground, and their eyes popped out of their sockets. They were so shocked that they made the impossible possible. Standing on their spot, with legs shaking uncontrollably, they looked at Elliot as if they were looking at a monster and not a human.
Elliot's eyes squinted, a sly look appearing on his face. He wasn't confident enough to fight a thousand magicians all by himself. In all honesty, he wanted to buy time for Grae to appear with her army. Who would know that those fools would keep on using arrows that he could easily break again and again instead of making a move by themselves? Well, their arrogance just made things easier for him.
