”...”

Elliot almost believed that he was a black hole at this moment!

However, he knew that he was one with limited capacity and couldn't store more than a hundred units of spiritual energy in his heart, or else he would explode into a mess of flesh and blood!

Thus, he decided to stop after reaching his limits, a total of hundred units of spiritual energy.

<Spiritual Energy: 100/100> Some moment later, a notification popped up in his mind, telling him that he had reached his limits.

He could feel a first-sized milky white ball within his heart and also knew that any more than that would endanger his life. Thus, he used the fastest and easiest way of stopping himself from stealing from heaven, closing his mouth.

The moment he did so, the streams of energy in the air vanished.

”With spiritual energy in my body, I can finally try out the power of my spirit magic matrix!”

Elliot channeled spiritual energy into the wing-like marks on his palm. It was easy to control the flow of spiritual energy as it was almost like breathing. He didn't need others to tell him, and neither did he need to train to control it. The spiritual energy seeped out of his heart, entered his blood vessels, and moved towards his palm.

A moment later, the marks of his palms brightened in a milky glow. Immediately after, energy surged out of his back, taking the form of a pair of wings with countless white and shiny feathers.

He decided to fly towards the dead spirit tree to retrieve his golden arrow, obtain the treasure inside its body, and also test how good he was at flying.

He had never flown before and didn't know how to do it, but by mimicking the way birds flap their wings and moving the wings on his back up and down, he charged towards the clouds.

In a matter of moments, he found himself high above the ground.

He was standing above a solitary cloud, and when he looked down, the trees seemed like thin pins sticking out of the ground. ”Holy Moly! If I fell from such a height, I would die a dog's death!”

He stopped flapping his wings as he wanted to go downwards. Immediately after, he fell towards the ground at an incredible speed. He twisted his body, took a spin to face the ground before opening his wings wide.

The speed at which he was descending slowed down considerably as the upward winds crashed on his wings.

He performed a few more tricks in mid-air, from going in circles like a nut head to swirling around as if he was fish in the ocean.

Several minutes later, once he felt satisfied and didn't have the will to keep on flying, he landed on the spot next to the remains of what used to be the spirit tree.

He could see his golden arrow stuck in the center of a tree that was a few steps away from him. He went up to it, took a leap, grabbed the arrow, and yanked it out. After landing on the ground, he absorbed it into his body.

Then, he focused on collecting the treasure that was the body of the spirit tree!

A part of its body was jutting out of the ground while the rest of its remains were scattered here, there, all over the place.

He walked up to the lower body of the spirit tree and saw golden liquid secreting out of it.
