Chapter 109: Whats wrong with the referee? (2/2)

They deserved death, but none of them wanted to die.

Therefore, all of them tossed their pride out of the window and begged for his forgiveness.

Master Seer, an elder-ranked magician that basically runs the magician association, flicked his sleeves, telling them to shut up with his graceful action.

Master Seer focus shifted towards Elliot.

”Boy, you did great! Your inborn talent is far greater than I last saw you. It's surprising to see that you've improved so much. Maybe their death became your motivation. Keep up the good work.” Master Seer said while looking at Elliot with a gaze that a senior would use to show respect to their juniors, and as he was using his magic, no one except for Elliot was able to hear what he said.

When he heard Master Seer's words, Elliot's eyes blinked in surprise.

”Elder magician, do I know you?” He asked while carefully looking at the chiseled face of the red-haired man.

Instead of giving him a reply, Master Seer turned around and started to walk away.

”Senior wait!” Elliot called out in a loud voice.

The onlooker felt that he was courting death by telling Master Seer to stop.

To their surprise, Master Seer turned around, looked at Elliot, and asked in a heavy voice containing hints of gentleness, ”What is it?”

”Elder magician, thanks for standing up for me!” Elliot said with an amiable smile. He knew that if he had pressed on with the previous question, then he would surely get on the elder magician's nerves, so he didn't ask him about it.

”Elder magician, thanks for helping my friend.”

”Thanks for doing him justice.”

Theo and John added, showing their gratitude to the elder for his help.

”Umm, keep up the good work, youngsters!”

After giving them a few words and a nod of his head, Master Seer went away.

”Now it's only the three of us, eh?” John said while looking at Theo and Elliot.

”You want to spar?” Elliot said, glancing at John.

John shook his head, ”No thanks. you're too strong.”

After saying that, he jumped out of the arena and landed on the spot outside of the arena's boundary, which results in him getting eliminated.

”What about you? There's a chance that you can win against me. After all, you're my equal if you utilize the power of your eyes,” Elliot said while looking at Theo.

Theo calmly walked up to him, patted him on the shoulder, and then whispered the following words in his ears, ”I only use them against my enemies, not my friends.”

Elliot smiled, but before he could even say something, Theo teleported out of the arena.

The onlookers only saw Elliot standing in the arena, yet instructor Leonardo still didn't announce him as the victor.
